Marvel Rivals is a third-person hero shooter that pits a team of six players against another team of six players. Similar to games like Overwatch 2, Marvel Rivals (Rivals for short) is a free-to-play game that instantly gives players access to a variety of Marvel heroes and villains that make up three main playable categories. Since Rivals is free, most of its revenue comes from battle pass sales and character cosmetics.
Marvel Rivals has almost 40 Marvel characters, with at least one new character releasing every season. The game has an overarching story told through comics and in-game lore, but the character cosmetics take inspiration from many Marvel sources, from comic books to movies. Marvel Cinematic Universe-themed skins are a popular choice, with new MCU skins being added all the time. This list will rank the top 10 MCU skins currently in Marvel Rivals.
10 Scarlet Witch from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
"That's What Every Mother Does."
Scarlet Witch’s MCU-inspired skin comes from her costume in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). This costume is somewhat controversial because it depicts a much lighter-skinned version of Wanda Maximoff in comparison to her base in-game appearance. While the criticism is entirely valid, this skin does perfectly emulate Elizabeth Olsen’s interpretation of the character, right down to the black fingertips, stellar crimson crown, and a bit more natural ginger hair.
In-Game Information:
- Price of Costume: 1,600 units
- Price of Bundle: 1,800 units
- Bundle Includes:
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Scarlet Witch costume
- «Paths to Reunion» MVP highlight intro
- «Timeless appeal» emote
- «Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness» nameplate featuring Wanda Maximoff
- «Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness» poster spray featuring Wanda Maximoff
9 Spider-Man from Spider-Man: No Way Home
"I Don't Wanna Brag, But I Will. I Was in the Avengers."
Spider-Man’s MCU skin is based on Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) and features the Iron Spider suit worn by Tom Holland’s version of the character. So far, the other two Spideys to appear in No Way Home have not received skins, but since Holland is the MCU’s Spider-Man, it makes sense that the character’s MCU costume would go to one of Peter Parker’s coolest Spidey outfits to date. While this costume is awesome, the price is not so awesome. Since it’s a legendary outfit (gold rarity), it’s more expensive than most other shop outfits and one of the most expensive costumes on this list.
In-Game Information:
- Price of Costume: Costume not sold separately
- Price of Bundle: 2,600 units
- Bundle Includes:
- No Way Home Spider-Man skin
- «Three Generations» MVP highlight intro
- «Wrong Spell» emote
- «Spider-Man: No Way Home» nameplate featuring Peter Parker
- «Spider-Man: No Way Home» spray featuring all three Spideys pointing at each other
8 Black Widow's White Suit from Black Widow
"I've Lived a Lot of Lives… But I'm Done Running from My Past."
Many MCU fans felt that 2021’s Black Widow movie was too little, too late. Natasha Romanoff was killed off in Avengers: Endgame (2019), so the studio giving her a solo movie felt like a slap in the face to her character and her fans. That said, Natasha’s White Suit costume is a breath of fresh air among most of Black Widow’s costumes. She is the Black Widow, after all, so most of her cosmetics are black from head to toe. This stylish suit gives Natasha’s wardrobe a bit of much-needed variety.
In-Game Information:
- Price of Costume: 1,600 units
- Price of Bundle: 1,800 units
- Bundle Includes:
- Black Widow’s White Suit costume
- «Winter’s Shelter» MVP highlight intro
- «Warm Up» emote
- «Arctic Agent» nameplate featuring Natasha Romanoff
- «Arctic Agent» spray featuring Natasha Romanoff
7 Thor from Thor: Love and Thunder
"I Need to Figure Out Exactly Who I Am."
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) isn’t a great movie by any stretch of the imagination. It’s somewhat surprising that Marvel Rivals decided to pull from Love and Thunder when Thor has so many iconic looks from multiple Thor and Avengers films. That said, the details on this costume are incredible. The cosmetic designers also made the smart call to remove Thor’s helmet, allowing players to get a better look at Thor’s luscious locks and handsome face.
In-Game Information:
- Price of Costume: 2,000 units
- Price of Bundle: 2,200 units
- Bundle Includes:
- Thor’s Love and Thunder costume
- «Love and Thunder» MVP highlight intro
- «Please Don’t Go» emote
- «Thor: Love and Thunder» nameplate featuring Thor
- «Thor: Love and Thunder» spray featuring Thor
6 Namor from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
"Only the Most Broken People Can Be Great Leaders."
Namor is one of the best Duelists in Marvel Rivals, thanks to how strong he is against flankers. Rivals has a huge dive meta at the moment, so flankers can flatten a team that doesn’t know how to deal with them. A Spider-Man or a Magik in the backlines can easily wipe out a team’s Strategists before the rest of the team knows what’s happening. Fortunately, Namor and his squid turrets can tackle flankers in style with this incredible Black Panther: Wakanda Forever-inspired skin. The gold jewelry pops, and Namor’s toned muscles are on full display.
In-Game Information:
- Price of Costume: 1,600 units
- Price of Bundle: 1,800 units
- Bundle Includes:
- Namor’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) costume
- «K’uk’ulkan of Talokan» MVP highlight intro
- «¡Líik’ik Talokan!» emote
- «Black Panther: Wakanda Forever» nameplate featuring Namor
- «Black Panther: Wakanda Forever» spray featuring Namor
5 Loki's God of Stories Costume from Loki Season 2
"For You. For All of Us."
Loki (2021-2023) is one of the best Disney+ Marvel shows to date, and it focuses on the TVA arresting Loki, only for Loki to eventually save the multiverse by becoming the God of Stories at the end of Season 2. Marvel Rivals decided to honor Loki’s God of Stories look by including it as a purchasable cosmetic. This skin is a huge departure from Loki’s typical black and green leather accented with gold armor. It also pays homage to a version of Loki that proves the character is more than just a trickster. Rivals recently released a President Loki skin based on the 2016 Vote Loki comic. President Loki also made a cameo in Loki Season 1.
In-Game Information:
- Price of Costume: 1,600 units
- Price of Bundle: 1,800 units
- Bundle Includes:
- Loki’s Loki Season 2 costume
- «Glorious Purpose» MVP highlight intro
- «Constant Gardener» emote
- «Loki Season 2″ nameplate featuring Loki
- «Loki Season 2″ spray featuring Loki
4 Wolverine from Deadpool & Wolverine
"You Know What? You're the Best Wolverine."
Wolverine was finally introduced to the MCU in Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). Not only did Hugh Jackman reprise his iconic role as Logan, but he also donned the iconic classic yellow and blue X-Men costume. Fans loved it, so it was a no-brainer for a Marvel Rivals cosmetic. Wolverine has a few incredible skins, like the Blood Berserker costume, but the nostalgia of the Deadpool & Wolverine outfit just feels right. Marvel Rivals Season 2 will introduce more classic X-Men costumes for Magik and Psylocke.
In-Game Information:
- Price of Costume: 1,600 units
- Price of Bundle: 1,800 units
- Bundle Includes:
- Wolverine’s «Deadpool & Wolverine» costume
- «Maximum Effort» MVP highlight intro
- «I Don’t Play Nice» emote
- «Deadpool & Wolverine» nameplate featuring Wolverine
- «Deadpool & Wolverine» spray featuring Wolverine
3 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Team Suits
"Don't Forget Where We Came From."
One of the best MCU costumes actually comes in a set of three. Star-Lord, Mantis, and Rocket all have matching cosmetics that feature the red and blue team uniforms from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). Currently, Rivals doesn’t feature many team-oriented cosmetics (though that is changing with the upcoming classic X-Men costumes), so this is a really cute set of outfits. Players who are teaming up with their friends should consider these costumes when playing together.

2 Iron Man from Avengers: Endgame
"I Love You 3000"
This list simply wouldn’t be complete without an Iron Man skin. After all, the MCU as we know it likely wouldn’t exist without Robert Downey Jr.’s incredible portrayal of Tony Stark in Iron Man (2008). The MCU started with Tony, and the Infinity Saga ended with him sacrificing himself to destroy Thanos. Marvel Rivals pays homage to Iron Man’s legacy with an incredible Avengers: Endgame (2019) costume. This bright red and gold armor is iconically Iron Man, but it’s hard to mistake it for anything other than the MCU’s latest iteration of the character.

- Price of Bundle: 2,600 units

1 Moon Knight's Fist of Vengeance Costume
"Rise and Live Again. As My Fist of Vengeance. As My Moon Knight."
Moon Knight is a popular Duelist pick, so it’s only fair that he has an incredible costume to match. Moon Knight’s Fist of Vengeance is the newest MCU-inspired outfit introduced to Marvel Rivals. Based on Moon Knight (2022) Season 1, this outfit features Moon Knight’s updated outfit, complete with bandage details, gold accents, and hieroglyphs etched into the thighs. The attention to detail is mind-blowing, and the game managed to make all the overlapping textures of this outfit look flawless. Every fan of Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight should pick this outfit up because it’s surprisingly the cheapest outfit on this list.
In-Game Information:

- Moon Knight’s «Fist of Vengeance» costume
- «Like the Moon» MVP highlight intro
