Gojo made a fool of Jogo in their first fight thanks to his Domain Expansion, and even when he was overwhelmed in the Shibuya Incident arc, Gojo could not be killed. It was all Mahito’s team could do to merely seal Gojo away, getting him out of the picture so protagonist Yuji Itadori could actually be vulnerable. It’s hardly surprising, since the nature of Gojo’s power is unbelievably cracked, seeing how by definition, nothing can exceed infinity.

Eventually, ships the size of moons were involved, and in the final fight, Simon proved why he is the most cracked anime character of all.
It was outrageous, bizarre, hilarious, and hugely exciting all at once to see Simon make his Gurren Lagann mech bigger than the observable universe itself. By that point, the playful subversion had reached and even exceeded astronomical standards, creating a giant drill that makes no sense whatsoever. Simon wielded all the Spiral power in existence to defeat the Antispiral leader, and fans had no problem accepting that at face value to see the villains go down.
