After a seemingly endless wait, BTS recently finally announced their return with a new release and world tour, sending fans everywhere into orbit. Coming out of a long hiatus due to military service, the group’s comeback is a highly anticipated affair.
At the same time, on the anime side of things, Black Clover is also paving the way for a much awaited return with Season 2 in 2026. That said, Black Clover’s return might be making way for the ultimate K-pop comeback in 2026, and it’s not BTS.
Black Clover Needs To Bring Back This K-Pop Group for Season 2

Throughout its run, while Black Clover’s animation may have left a lot to be desired here and there, one area in which the anime has never let fans down is its openings. Black Clover has been known for having amazing openings, and it’s safe to say many are looking forward to seeing whether the series can keep up this streak going into Season 2.
Having said that, towards the end of Season 1, one opening theme in particular that especially stood out is «Everlasting Shine,» the series’ twelfth opening performed by TXT. Although not as iconic as the first opening, «Haruka Mirai,» «Everlasting Shine» certainly had a charm of its own, and one can’t help but hope that Black Clover brings TXT back for another opening in Season 2.
Admittedly, «Everlasting Shine» has a more cheerful tone that might not exactly suit the grim yet exciting atmosphere of Season 2 and the Spade Kingdom Raid. That said, TXT did most recently feature in «LEveL,» the Season 1 opening of Solo Leveling, which should be proof enough that the group can most definitely bring the energy needed for Season 2 of Black Clover as well.

All that said, while it’s a shot in the dark and very unlikely, it would be incredibly fun to potentially have BTS perform an opening for Season 2 of Black Clover. While rare, K-pop artists have featured in a handful of anime openings over the years and every single one of them has been amazing.

A few examples include Re-Main‘s opening, «Forget Me Not,» by ENHYPEN, Tower of God‘s first opening, «TOP» by Stray Kids, and Fairy Tail’s fifteenth opening, «Masayume Chasing« by BoA. Most recently, Solo Leveling also saw K-pop meet J-pop with LiSA and Felix of Stray Kids collaborating on the Season 2 opening, «ReawakeR.»
Nonetheless, there’s plenty of excitement surrounding Black Clover’s return, and whether its BTS or TXT, or another artist entirely performing it, there’s no doubt that the series’ newest opening will be just as unskippable as the rest.
