Led by Monkey D. Luffy, the Straw Hat Pirates have some of the strongest characters in One Piece, even though five of them still can’t use Haki.

Even though the Straw Hats are undeniably one of the strongest pirate groups in One Piece, not every member has awakened Haki yet. We already know that Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe are solid Haki users, and even Usopp has recently shown signs of using Observation Haki. But outside of them, five familiar faces are still waiting for their moment.
Those 5 are Brook, Nami, Robin, Franky, and Chopper, each with their own unique fighting style and narrative importance. The potential if they awaken Haki is insane, as described in detail below.
1 Brook

It’s true, Brook hasn’t shown any form of Haki so far, but that doesn’t make him any less powerful. His fighting style is already unique, and he can burst into extreme speed to slip past opponents before they react.
Which is why, if he ever does awaken Haki, Observation Haki would suit him best. His swift movements and precise strikes already lean in that direction, but for now, nothing is confirmed in the story.
2 Nami

Nami hasn’t shown any form of Haki yet- no Observation, Armament, or Conqueror’s. She still relies mainly on her Clima-Tact and Zeus, using creativity and trickery more than brute force. But that’s her charm as a fighter; she doesn’t need to be a brawler.

Still, Observation Haki will fit her the most, given her already existing high sense of direction. Her whole skillset is already built around reading the environment, predicting the weather, and reacting faster than most people on the seas. So does Nami really need Haki?
3 Franky

Even Franky doesn’t seem bothered by not having Haki, so why should we? His whole combat style leans on his cyborg upgrades and his metal body, which honestly makes him stronger than many with Haki.
However, just for the sake of the argument, if he ever does awaken Haki, Armament would be the perfect fit. It would boost his physical durability and firepower even further, making his punches, weapons, and tanks even more devastating. But for now, Franky’s still rocking as the crew’s one-man battleship without needing any Haki at all.
4 Nico Robin

Don’t get fooled by Robin’s cute looks; she’s already a monster in combat with just her Hana Hana no Mi. Her ability makes her dangerous without ever relying on Haki.
If she ever awakens Haki, Armament would be downright terrifying. Imagine her massive limbs or multiple arms coated in hardening. But even without it, Robin’s mix of intelligence and overwhelming technique keeps her firmly in the ‘don’t mess with her’ zone.
5 Tony Tony Chopper

Maybe Chopper still hasn’t shown any form of Haki because of his role in the crew. He’s a doctor first, fighter second, so the story rarely pushes him into situations where he must awaken new combat abilities. But who knows? Oda might be saving his development for a moment where it really matters.
So, assuming he gets one, it’ll most likely be Observation. It may even give him the ability to read people’s conditions instantly. It wouldn’t necessarily reshape the whole story, but it would definitely elevate his importance in future battles and give him more spotlight moments.
