You’ll first need a special item to be able to calm down rampaging animals, then you’ll need to fulfill the requests they give you before they decide that you’re better as a friend than as tonight’s meal. However, certain animals will be easier and faster to tame than others.

How to tame in 99 Nights in a Forest

To tame an animal in 99 Nights in a Forest you need to use a taming flute and feed them the required food to complete taming stages. The flute will start a small mini-game that will calm the animal down if they were attacking you. Once this mini-game has finished, the animal will ask for specific food and you must give this to them in order to complete taming stages.

Taming stages need to be completed and worked through in order to fully tame the animal, when the animal starts emitting hearts and they are tamed, you can have them as a pet now! However, at the time of writing, you can only have two tamed animals unless you’ve got the Strong Flute which increases this limit to three.

You can get different taming flutes for different animals at the campfire once it reaches level 4.
