There are several collectibles to find in Code Violet. As you progress through the game and explore the vast map, you’ll come across a variety of obtainable items. While some of them are useful in the game, such as the outfits and earrings, which influence appearance and stats, others are purely decorative.
This article provides the locations of all decorative collectibles in Code Violet and where to find them.
All collectible locations in Code Violet
Apart from the outfits, earrings, and weapon silencers, you can find the following types of collectibles in Code Violet:
- Cameos
- Decorative Eggs
- Ducks
- Gear Pouches
There are multiple of each kind spread across the various in-game maps. The following section mentions where to find them.
All Cameo locations
Cameo 1
To begin your search for the first Cameo collectible in Code Violet, head over to the Laundry inside the Testing Facility. It is inside one of the washing machines at the corner.
Cameo 2
The second cameo can be found inside the Plasma Heating Control room of the Preservation Facility. Just go toward the pipes on the left-hand side of the computer and crawl beneath them to reach the side. The collectible will be on your right.
Cameo 3
Cameo 3 is quite easy to find. Simply go to the small room south of Cinderline Power inside the Communications Facility, then look to your left to find it.
Cameo 4
Cameo #4 is located inside the Clone Monitoring room at the Bioengineering Lab. You can find it tucked behind one of the middle statues.
Cameo 5
The fifth Cameo collectible in Code Violet is within the Grinder room of the Disposal Facility. Simply enter the room and go toward the right of the computer to find huge pipes with valves on them. Just go behind the second pipe to collect this item.
Cameo 6
The last Cameo to be found in the game is located inside the Sewage Overflow area of the Disposal Facility. Enter it and head toward the southern direction. You will find the item tucked away behind a huge pipe, along with some Mites.
All Decorative Eggs locations
Decorative Egg 1
Begin the search for the first Decorative Egg in the area west of the Emergency Monitoring room at the Testing Facility, as shown in the above map. From here, take the door in the western direction and go down the staircase. Then enter the door in your front and go through the passage. You’ll reach inside a room with a dinosaur corpse.
Head over toward the boxes on your left and push one of them to access the area behind them. Then continue toward the other side to find the egg behind the boxes.
Decorative Egg 2
The second Decorative Egg collectible in Code Violet is actually located outside the Testing Facility. It is found just behind the giant grey vehicle on your left, shown in the above image.
Decorative Egg 3
The third Decorative Egg can be found within the Gym at the Preservation Facility. Just enter the area and look behind the Chin-Fu arcade game.
Decorative Egg 4
The fourth Decorative Egg collectible of Code Violet can be found outside the Preservation Facility. As you leave it, you will come across a giant fallen log. Simply crouch past it and move toward the Road May Flood sign. From here, go right toward the slope and head over to the top of the fallen log. Walk to its other end to find this item.
Decorative Egg 5
Go to the Main Storage Bay of the Communications Facility, as shown on the above map. Go past the boxes to encounter a dinosaur. Defeat it and look behind the vehicle on the southeast corner.
Decorative Egg 6
The sixth Decorative Egg collectible can be found outside of the Communications Facility. Just look for it behind the huge tree on the corner to your right after exiting the door.
Decorative Egg 7
To obtain Decorative Egg 7, head over to the room above the Admin Office of the Bioengineering Lab. Here, shoot the glass of the Goat exhibit to enter the area and look behind the goat statue to find the collectible.
Decorative Egg 8
Head over to the Coolent Room of the Disposal Facility, as shown in the above image. Go toward the huge cylindrical machine to your right and look behind it to get the last Decorative Egg collectible in Code Violet.
All Duck locations
Duck 1
The first Duck collectible in Code Violet is found within the Greenhouse of the Testing Facility. It is hanging from the fruit plant located on the northeast corner.
Duck 2
The second Duck is located outside the Testing Facility. Before proceeding to the entrance of the next area, which is indicated in the image, head to the right. Continue down the path to find the item.
Duck 3
To find the third Duck collectible in Code Violet, go to the Preservation Hub inside the Preservation Facility. From here, head north toward the restroom and take the first right. Continue down the path until you are inside the toilet. The duck is behind the door to the third stall from the left.
Duck 4
The fourth Duck collectible is inside the wooden cabin outside the Preservation Facility. Just look at the top of the crates on the left side corner.
Duck 5
For the fifth Duck collectible, go to the Server Room inside the Communications Facility. Here, you will find the item tucked between the three server units on the northwest corner.
Duck 6
For the sixth Duck collectible in Code Violet, you must go to the Hydrolift in the Bioengineering Lab. First retract the bridge and then use the lift to go down to the lowest floor. Then rotate the platform once and extend the bridge. Then continue in that direction and look behind the crate on your left, just in front of the door.
Duck 7
The last Duck collectible is inside the Trash Processing room of the Disposal Facility. Head to the northeast corner of the room and collect the item that is placed on top of the garbage bin.
All Gear Pouch locations
Gear Pouch 1
Go to the R&D room of the Testing Facility in Code Violet. Here, you will find the Gear Pouch 1 just lying on the dining table.
Gear Pouch 2
To obtain the second Gear Pouch collectible in Code Violet, first head over to the Gym inside the Preservation Facility. You will come across an Old Key here, lying on the inclined bench press machine. Take it and head over to the location shown on the above map, which is part of the Thermal Regulation Wing.
Use the key to open the triangle lock on a locked cupboard. You will find the pouch within it, along with some Mites.
Gear Pouch 3
To find the third Gear Pouch collectible, first go to the Main Storage Bay inside the Communications Facility. Then get close to the forklift on the southeast corner and use it to climb on top of the crates. Jump to the other side of it the reach the southeast corner of the room, where you will find an Old Key lying on the floor.
Then go through the maze of the boxes toward a door on the northern wall of the room. Enter it and then take a right, followed by a left, and another right. Go past the passage to the next room, where you will find lasers blocking your path. Take the right just before the laser to enter a room with a locked cupboard on your left. Unlock it with the Old Key to obtain the third Gear Pouch collectible in Code Violet.
