GTA 5 has been out for over a decade at this point on PlayStation, meaning most of us will have rolled credits on the game once. If you’re heading back to Los Santos, there are loads of cheat codes you can use on PS4 and PS5 to have a bit of wacky fun in Rockstar’s virtual playground.

While there’s lots of content in GTA 5 and GTA Online to keep you busy until GTA 6 comes out, from the main campaign to heists, spray painting, and races you can enjoy within co-op, cheats are another way to shake things up.

So, whether you want to spawn a super fast car or bike, some explosive ammo, or want to experience invincibility and even super jumping, these GTA cheats do it all on PS4 and PS5.

Best cheats in GTA 5

Using the codes above allows you to stay alive and head into plenty of different situations with your best foot forward.

While the Invincibility cheat above is time-limited, pairing it with Max Health & Armor gives you the chance to dive headfirst into the action without worrying about having to respawn right away. We’d recommend using that combination whenever you’re struggling in a particular mission.

Bike, car & helicopter cheats

Phone number cheats

You can use your phone to cheat in GTA 5 by entering a phone number instead of activating them with a typical cheat code. They function exactly the same way as using your gamepad to enter them, supplying you with everything from the ability to super jump to spawning a helicopter:

Gameplay cheats

Is there an unlimited money cheat in GTA 5?

No, there isn’t a cheat you can use to get unlimited money in either GTA Online or the single-player campaign.

How to use cheats 

You can input cheats simply by using the PlayStation controller, but you can also use your character’s cell phone to type them in. To input them via the cellphone, follow the steps shown in the list and image gallery below:

1. Open your in-game phone by pressing Up on the D-pad.
2. Navigate to your Contacts with the Square button.
3. Type in a cheat code from the list above and ‘dial’ it by pressing the Square button.
4. Once this is done, you’ll see the message ‘Cheat processing‘ on the phone screen.
5. When the cheat has been activated, you’ll see a notification on the top left-hand side of your screen confirming it.
