Mario Kart World has introduced one mechanic that I was personally surprised to see, and that’s Dash Food. These are snacks – lovingly crafted and handed out by Yoshis across the map – that you can consume while racing or free-roaming for a quick boost, and with some luck, a new costume for the character you’re playing.
I suppose our racers no doubt work up an appetite zooming around the likes of Airship Fortress and Rainbow Road, so it makes sense that there’d be a pitstop to grab some burgers or sushi as a little pick-me-up. I do wonder where Mario and co. are sourcing their ingredients though…

One more thing to note is that Yoshi’s Snacks come with a few different variants; some coloured sodas will unlock one outfit, while another colour of soda will unlock a different outfit. Be sure to sample all of Yoshi’s Snacks if you’re unlocking outfits via that stall.
