When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal.

Ultron is set to join the roster in Marvel Rivals’ Hellfire Gala Season two next month, and early ability leaks have already stirred excitement in the community—many believe his surprising healing kit could shake up the entire meta.

The robotic supervillain’s arrival in Marvel Rivals will finally end player speculations on who could be the game’s first flying healer, and we finally have an answer. Ultron excels in using his multiple drones to heal teammates and even damage them. He could also introduce a flying heroes meta, where teams might center around his kit and take the fights from a distance.

The popular MCU villain loves to use his drones to dominate the battlefield, and take advantage o his advanced agility in the air to provide heals from obscure angles. Thanks to his unmatched aerial mobility, Ultron can effortlessly reposition or disengage from aggressive flankers and divers. This makes him one of the most elusive and durable healers in the game, capable of staying alive and sustaining his team even under heavy pressure.

He keeps teams healed and buffed with healing drones and bonus health, which makes him a valuable asset in any team, especially the ones who are trying the double tank comp. His heals are also AoE, ideal for pushing carts or holding down the fort in the match.

You can clutch teamfights with the Rage of Ultron ultimate, which is sort of similar to the Cloak and Dagger ultimate in the game, where he can easily overwhelm the enemy and gain control of the point at a crucial time to swing the momentum in your favor. That being said, Ultron could also be countered with single-target DPS heroes like Hela or Black Widow, who excel in taking out flying targets, and he’ll always need to be on his toes to become a reliable backbone for the team.

Ultron could excel in a flying team composition with other heroes like Iron Man, Storm, and Human Torch. It would be a chaotic team to deal with, and they can try and help a tank on the ground like Peni Parker or someone else with their poke. Usually, flying characters don’t receive much heals from healers as they’re far away from them, but Ultron specializes in closing the gap and making sure they always have enough gas in the tank to overwhelm the opponent.

Another team combination could utilise his movement and help divers obliterate the enemy’s backline. He could help heroes like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Psylocke, and Iron Fist, who often have struggled to get out alive after eliminating the enemy backline. Ultron could help them get bonus health to easily complete their task, and return to the team without any downtime in the spawn, which could mean your enemy healer won’t have a fun time.

Of course, we don’t really know how effective his team-ups are as he isn’t released yet, meaning you could choose better heroes on his team and make for great plays based on synergy.
