One way to fast-track your friendships is to give gifts to the villagers you meet. How to get favorite villager gifts in Dave the Diver Into the Jungle

Some gift types are easier to obtain than others in Dave the Diver: Into the Jungle. The easiest way to find gifts for most villagers is to visit Rimbo’s shop daily and buy out his stock. He’ll sell items ranging from video game and TV show merch to various household items that people like.

You’ll also find certain gift types such as jewelry and pearls on the lake and seafloor while diving. While these are less common, you’ll usually find one or two per dive, letting you consistently collect them to gift to villagers such as Harta and Chandra. Fishing will also help you farm ingredients for villagers’ favorite dishes, allowing you to make a ton of money quickly if you focus on preferred meals for those who regularly visit Bancho’s Grill.

You’ll also occasionally receive gift items while completing quests for the villagers and reaching level three and level four friendship levels. While most side quests give money and decorations for Bancho’s Grill, some reward you with gifts instead that you can give to other villagers, letting you quickly increase your friendships if you plan your socialization routes carefully throughout the day.
