Key Changes to Remember From Apex Legends Season 28 Patch Notes

The biggest highlight of Apex Legends Season 28 is the addition of a new Hardlight Mesh, which can be broken to create new entry points or even reinforced for better protection. Furthermore, this new interactable addition can be repaired by Controller Legends, which is a bonus.
A lot of changes are coming to Legends to make them more viable in the current meta. For instance, Bloodhound’s Tactical scans have been improved while heavily reducing Ultimate activation. On top of that, White Raven range and healing on knock during Ultimates are a part of the upgrade as well.
Speaking of upgrades, Fuse has been granted a new Knuckle Jumper upgrade that lets him jump past enemy defences. The Ultimate ability is also upgraded to deal additional flame damage and even recharge it with explosive damage.
As for Catalyst, the Legend can now throw the Piercing Spikes further, faster, and even keep them hidden. Additionally, the Dark Veil Ultimate ability can be triggered horizontally, which is an upgrade as well.
As for meta changes, Ranked mode will no longer display drop zones, and the loot pool is changing. To get started, Knockdown Shields have been removed, and it all depends on player level. Since Breach is a CQC-focused season, shotgun hop-ups like Dual Shell, Disruptor Rounds, and Double Tap are returning this time.
Overall, the seventh year of Apex Legends is aiming to be great with Season 28, and there’s plenty to expect from the anniversary event. Are you excited about what’s to come with the next season? Share with us in the comments.
