The Bait & Betray task is part of the Casual Consultant tier in the “Grinding for the Corner Office” upgrade chain in Revenge of the Savage Planet. It’s short, dumb, and kind of hilarious; but it’s also easy to mess up if you’re not careful.

What Is Bait & Betray?
Your goal is simple:
Throw Grob at 3 different creatures and get their nearby friends to attack them.
The catch?
You have to make sure the Grobbed creature gets hurt by the others. Just throwing Grob doesn’t count—you need betrayal. Real, painful betrayal.
What You’ll Need

Grob – You can craft it early on or loot it from supply crates. Keep a few on hand.

Creatures that travel in packs – This only works if other enemies are nearby to do the damage.
Where to Do It
The easiest spot is Stellaris Prime, near the starting jungle zones.
Find a group of:

Raccoccos (little furry ball guys)
-
Tatushkeys
-
Slitherflies (if you’re chaotic and confident)
Aim for something that’ll fight back, not just die instantly. Raccoccos are perfect—they’re just dumb enough to brawl over food.
Step-by-Step Strategy

Find a group of 3 or more of the same species

Throw Grob directly at one creature – make sure it sticks to them

Back away and watch—if the others start hitting the baited creature, you’re good

Repeat for two more different individuals
Make sure to use different creatures, not just the same one three times. You need three separate betrayals to count.
Tips If It’s Not Working

Don’t throw Grob on the ground, but rather hit the creature directly

If nearby creatures ignore it, try again with a different species or group

If it dies too fast, pick a tougher target or throw Grob from farther away so they survive the hit
