Ball x Pit is great. Feeling like a combination between Vampire Survivors and Peggle, it’s easy to pick up yet hard to master, and has gameplay that’s so moreish that you can’t help but jump in time and time again. That’s why it scored an impressive 8/10 in our review. It appears to have gone down a treat with gamers in general, too, with it being announced that it’s reached over 1,000,000 players.
It’s an impressive achievement, and for fans it comes with yet more great news: Ball x Pit will get three new content updates in 2026 to keep the ball rolling. Even better, all three of these content updates will be free. There are no fine details just yet of what each update will deliver, but expect new balls, new evolutions, new characters, new buildings, and more. With each update, then, Ball x Pit will undoubtedly get more exciting.
The first free content update for Ball x Pit in 2026 will arrive in January, and will be called the Regal update. After that, the Shadow update will arrive in April, followed by the Naturalist update in July. More information about the exact contents of the first update will be provided in the very near future.
