The drama inside the Bellarie empire has never been more explosive. Season 2 of Beauty in Black took a drastic turn as the empire seemed to be crumbling amid criminal chaos rather than corporate power plays. Part 1 ended with an unforgettable crime that can alter the lives of everyone involved, with no turning back.

Kimmie, who was once underestimated, now seems to be in the thick of it all. She found her place at the head of the cosmetics dynasty. What Happens in Beauty In Black Season 2, Part 1 Finale?

Viewers who have been hooked to the series from episode 1 must have gotten a satisfying finale filled with violence, shocking twists, and a betrayal that will change the family for the worse. 

Charles seems to be the most affected after a robbery attempt by a few club employees goes sideways. Instead of reporting the crime or calling for help, Charles takes matters into his own hands and kills the perpetrators. In the most disturbing way possible, he tries to get rid of the bodies and remove all evidence of the crime. This scene is pivotal in showing how eager Charles is to remain in control and avoid anything that might damage his image.

It’s a brutal turning point for a man who has spent most of the season juggling family expectations, personal identity, and resentment over being sidelined in the company. It seems like he finally crumbles under the pressure of being at his best and snaps. His double life has already been exposed within the family, thanks to Roy weaponizing his private relationship. Along with the proverbial skeletons in his closet, Charles now has literal bodies to hide, making him both more vulnerable and more dangerous.

On the other hand, Kimmie is doing her best to consolidate her authority as COO. After marrying Horace and stepping into the role of “Head Bellarie in Charge,” she’s determined to prove she belongs there. Unlike chief positions in many family businesses, Kimmie is seeking a way to prove she is not a mere figurehead.

Rain’s impulsive actions create additional legal and moral chaos, giving Kimmie a chance to prove herself as protector and fixer. Between Glen’s near-fatal fall and the aftermath of Rain’s confrontation with Daga, the stakes are through the roof on all fronts. Anytime something goes right for the business and the family, ten more obstacles threaten to rise out of nowhere.

The Part 1 finale closes with every character fighting their own demons and trying not to sink in the quicksand of tribulations.

Can Kimmie Hold the Throne in Beauty In Black Season 2 Part 2?

Kimmie’s transformation this season has been truly remarkable. Once seen as an outsider who married into power, she has strategically steered the company in a new direction, free from the threat of the Bellarie bloodline.

But many past characters have proven that holding power is far more difficult than seizing it. In Part 2, Kimmie faces pressure from every direction. Mallory’s power-play, Roy’s threat to unravel secrets, and Norman’s eager wait for an opening are all threats to her power. Charles’ criminal act also poses a significant problem for the business, leaving Kimmie responsible for protecting it all.

Part 2 of Beauty in Black will not just test Kimmie’s capability to consolidate power but also her determination to survive in this hellhole. Her loyalty to Rain could become a liability. Protecting her friend has already pushed her into a corner. If new legal troubles emerge or further problems complicate the situation, Kimmie will be forced to choose between her personal allegiances and her business responsibilities. 

Kimmie is calm under pressure, which is her most formidable quality. Unlike the Bellarie heirs, she doesn’t let ego get in her way. She thinks strategically and considers all perspectives. She needs to keep one eye in every direction if she wishes to remain in control.

How Far Will Mallory Go to Reclaim Her Crown?

Mallory is the one most affected by Kimmie’s rise to power. She is on the lookout for a chance to snatch back the control she once relinquished. The company was her identity, and without it, she feels like she is floating in nothingness. 

And we all know Mallory is far from graceful in loss. She will do anything in her power to claw back to the top, no matter who stands in her way. In the second part of the season, we might see her try a more aggressive and ruthless approach to retake what’s hers. 

Corporate sabotage is one possibility. Undermining Kimmie’s leadership with shareholders, exposing vulnerabilities in her decision-making, or exploiting the chaos surrounding Rain could be tools in Mallory’s arsenal.

With everything going wrong in the Bellarie family and in the business, Mallory will have more than enough chances to bring forth destruction when nobody is looking. One thing is certain: Mallory won’t fade quietly into the background. If she can’t be the one in power, she may unravel the entire operation to ensure nobody enjoys that power.

Is Charles Heading Towards A Dangerous Descent In Desperation?

Things were rosier when Charles was just a troubled heir. He’s crossed into something far darker with a deadly crime on his hands. Though a smart attorney can make it look like self-defense, viewers knew the act was that of pure brutality. Charles was aware of his actions, and he did not stop at one swing. 

Part 2 will likely explore the psychological effect on Charles. Killing in panic is one thing. Dismembering bodies in cold calculation is another ballgame altogether. The act suggests a darker side to his personality that many saw coming but did not realize was so intense. Moreover, as a mother, Olivia helps Charles when he begs her. 

Charles, turning to his mother, introduces a chilling dynamic. Olivia is fiercely protective, but she’s also pragmatic and self-interested. Her help may come at a cost, which will also be explored in the upcoming Part 2. 

Charles confiding in his mother reveals a vulnerability fans did not expect, but will Olivia act out of maternal care, or will she have an ulterior motive? Only time will tell. Guilt, fear of exposure, and dependency on Olivia could accelerate his downward spiral.

His actions will have a drastic impact on the entire family and the business. It could spell the doom of the entire operation, or perhaps offer everyone a chance to come together and protect their own.

Will Olivia Keep Charles’ Secrets?

Olivia is perhaps the most intriguing wildcard in Part 2. When she discovers the grisly scene her son has created, her reaction isn’t horror, it’s composure, an eerie calm in the face of adversity.

Helping Charles clean up the crime scene could tie her to her son in a way that may have no out. But Olivia never does anything without considering her own advantage.

Will she protect Charles unconditionally? Or will she store this secret as insurance, ready to use it if her position within the family is threatened? Given her track record, betting against Olivia would be foolish. The showrunners have a great opportunity to set up a wider arc for Olivia in Part 2 and make her do something nobody expects. 

Part 2 of Beauty in Black Season 2 is poised to escalate everything, from corporate warfare and criminal cover-ups to fractured loyalties and a ruthless power-play. Family dynamics and business allegiances can undergo significant change in darker situations. Leadership will be challenged, crimes will be hidden, and bargaining chips will be cashed.
