Berserk Returns to Uniqlo in New Dark Fantasy Release for Summer 2025

The iconic anime and manga franchise Berserk will be returning to Uniqlo with brand-new designs later this month. The franchise previously had a collection with the Japanese clothing brand, released both domestically and internationally.

The official Berserk X (formerly Twitter) account posted the news about the series’ inclusion in Uniqlo’s Manga Curation UT. Two new designs from Berserk have also been confirmed for release and are scheduled to hit stores in late July. The two shirts which were previously available from Uniqlo have also returned and are available now on Uniqlo’s website. Other anime series in the collection include Parasyte and Uzumaki.

Uniqlo Delivers 2 New Berserk T-Shirt Designs for Dark Fantasy Fans

Uniqlo’s Manga Curation UT lineup currently features unisex shirts priced at 1,990 yen (~US$13). The upcoming Berserk shirts are listed as men’s clothing, with sizing available from XS-4XL and likewise priced at 1,990 yen. The items will be available on the Uniqlo Japan website as well as in-stores throughout the country, with an international release of the two new Berserk t-shirts yet to be confirmed.

These upcoming designs, which don’t have a release date other than «late July,» are black and white shirts, respectively. The black shirt features a striking small red Behelit on the front, with a larger grayscale design on the back. The white tee features manga panels on the front in red, with a faded gray image of the Skull Knight vs. Nosferatu Zodd on the back.

According to the retailer’s website, Berserk was included in Uniqlo’s Manga Curation collection for being one of the most popular dark fantasy/horror manga stories. The series was created by Kentaro Miura and began serialization in 1989. Its story centers on Guts, a lone swordsman, as he goes on a quest for revenge on Griffith, the leader of a group of mercenaries who betrayed him and the rest of their allies.

Following Miura’s passing in 2021, Berserk‘s manga has continued publication using plans that the author left behind for the story. The series now credits itself as an original work by Kentaro Miura, with art by Studio Gaga supervised by Kouji Mori. With over 60 million copies in circulation, Berserk is one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

Uniqlo’s dark fantasy/horror collection, including Berserk, Parasyte and Uzumaki, is one of many collaborations the Japanese clothing brand has done with iconic anime franchises. Recent collections have included One Piece, Studio Ghibli and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty. It was recently announced that the brand’s Demon Slayer collaboration would be heading stateside later this year after it previously launched in Japan.

Uniqlo’s Manga Curation UT collection is available now internationally, with the two new Berserk designs arriving later this month in Japan.
