Ego Jinpachi instructs players not in top 23 to lock off

The chapter reportedly kicks off with the final auction rankings being revealed to all the Blue Lock players. While players who made it to the top 23 rejoiced, those who failed were left heartbroken. Just then, Jinpachi announces that all those below rank 23 will have to leave Blue Lock.

This prompts Isagi to question him as to why Nagi did not make the cut. Jinpachi replies by highlighting the Manshine City player’s contribution in the match, stating that Nagi’s bad plays overshadowed his good ones.

Reo fights to keep Nagi in Blue Lock

As Isagi speaks to Jinpachi regarding Nagi’s future in Blue Lock, Reo also joins in and asks him to reevaluate Nagi’s play. Reo states that Nagi was capable of making miracle plays and labeled him a genius who deserved to stay in Blue Lock. As a counter, Jinpachi asserts that Nagi has already exhausted his talent and that Blue Lock only nurtures players who will do the best.

Jinpachi asserts that Nagi has lost his will to achieve more

Additionally, Jinpachi praises Nagi’s fake volley in the match and states that at that moment, the world expected Nagi to do much better. However, according to him, Nagi lost his will to strive for better after scoring a goal against Isagi.

He says that despite losing the match against Barcha, Nagi should’ve let his ego aim for more and evolve. However, his collaboration with Reo, who tried to ignite the spark in Nagi again, was bad for his talent.

Jinpachi asks Nagi to go home

Reo then starts crying, while Jinpachi tells him that Blue Lock only belongs to those who aim to become the best. Subsequently, Jinpachi asks Nagi to leave the facility. At the end of the chapter, Nagi stops in front of Reo to say a few words.
