Blue Prince: Shrine & Blessings Guide

The Shrine in Blue Prince is one of the weirder money sinks in the game. It’s hidden out in the Grounds, and you can throw as many Gold Coins into it as your greedy little hands can carry. But what do you get back? Blessings. Powerful, temporary buffs. The trick? You have to pay the exact right amount for each one.

How the Shrine Works

  • Found in the Estate Grounds

  • Each blessing lasts 3 days by default

  • At 17 coins, blessings repeat with 4-day duration

  • At 33+ coins, blessings last 5 days

  • Even numbers are pointless—only odd numbers matter (1 and 2 give the same blessing)

You can cancel your blessing by redonating. But your gold is stuck in the bowl until the time is up—or you overwrite it.

Shrine Blessing List (By Amount Donated)

  • 1 CoinDancer: Draft Floorplans on a spinning wheel for 1 Gem.

  • 3 CoinsHigh Roller: All Shop Rooms get +1 Die. All die rolls give +5 Coins.

  • 5 CoinsGardener: Adds 8 Courtyards to your Draft Pool.

  • 7 CoinsChef: Each Spread Room adds an extra dish in the Dining Room.

  • 9 CoinsRed General: If you have six Red Rooms on different ranks, get +5 Gems.

  • 11 CoinsTinkerer: Every Mechanical Room you draft triggers your current experiment.

  • 13 CoinsMonk: If you end the day in a room, that room may appear on the Grounds the next day.

  • 15 CoinsBerry Picker: During Drafting, you can instead choose a Berry that gives a random Floorplan (ignores rarity).

  • 17+ Coins – The list starts over, but blessings now last 4 days

  • 33+ Coins – The list loops again, now with 5-day duration

You can technically donate up to 80 Coins, which still gives you Berry Picker—just for 7 days.

Final Blurb

The Shrine is basically a cosmic vending machine. If you can spare the Coins (and remember the math), the right blessing can totally shift your next few days. Just don’t throw in an even number and expect divine results. The gods are picky.
