A homeowner in a remote area of central California used a creative drone show to help guide a delivery driver to the right address.
Tom BetGeorge owns a home in a remote part of Linden, California that can be tricky for delivery drivers to navigate.
More specifically, he says that couriers often pull into the wrong driveway… and it’s not hard to see why that happens.
A viral video taken by the homeowner shows a driver pulling up to a dirt road that seems like it should lead directly to BetGeorge’s house. However, the real driveway requires drivers to take the long way around, circling a grassy block past another house to get to the actual address.

Homeowner’s viral drone show helps delivery drivers find right address
To help with this issue, BetGeorge programmed an army of drones to perform an extravagant light show to guide confused couriers in the right direction.
In the viral video, the drones show messages like, ‘Wrong driveway, back up,’ ‘There you go, keep going,’ and ‘Over here’ with a giant arrow pointing down.
In a statement to Storyful, BetGeorge said he’s tried to resolve the matter several times with Google Maps and has even placed a sign on the side of the road, but the problem persists despite his efforts.
“We even have a sign on our street signaling toward our driveway. Nothing worked, so we figured this might help,” Tom said.
While this method might seem over the top to some, BetGeorge actually owns a light show business, which includes the use of drones.
With his programming skills and resources, BetGeorge puts on themed shows for special events and holidays, many of which are available to watch on his YouTube channel.
The video has gone viral on multiple social media platforms, particularly TikTok, where viewers couldn’t help but joke about the situation.

“Could have used the money to build a better driveway path,” one suggested.
“This is out of my tax bracket,” another lamented.
“I bet they ordered more drones,” another joked.
This is the latest drone-related moment to go viral after Amazon’s AI-powered delivery drones accidentally broke orders by dropping them from 10 feet up in the air.
