Ranked is here in Call of Duty Black Ops 7, and you can finally show off your skills with a shiny title. The rules are similar to COD League, and to earn your rank, you’ll need to complete three placement matches to get started. But the best of all, you’ll be earning rewards for your hard work. Here’s everything you should note down.
What is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Ranked Play?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s ranked mode is a dedicated way for players to compete with others and showcase their skills. In the process of doing so, players can gain various rewards.
However, getting into ranked mode will require you to follow multiple rules, similar to those followed in COD League. For instance, you can only use Loadouts, which are decided by the CDL Pro player community. There’s a dedicated ruleset explained on the official website, if you wish to follow.

Ranked mode in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 includes three main game modes: Hardpoint, Overload, and Search & Destroy. The map pool varies across game modes. To make it simpler, we’ve created this table for you:
| Map | Search and Destroy | Overload | Hardpoint |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blackheart | No | No | Yes |
| Colossus | Yes | No | Yes |
| Den | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Exposure | Yes | Yes | Yes |

With every rank you cross, you’ll get dedicated rewards for each threshold. For starters, you can show off your rank with skins that highlight it, but that only unlocks by reaching Gold or beyond.
There are also extra rewards for players for reaching milestones with their Career Wins. For instance, you’ll get the “BO7 Ranked Competitor” Skin, “Pro Issue M15 Mod 0” Blueprint, Win Tracker Gunscreen, and other rewards.
With the introduction of Ranked in Call of Duty Black Ops 7, there are also seasonal content rewards for each season. Rewards will include Rank Camos, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and more.
As for requirements to join Ranked mode, players can only form a lobby of 4, and matchmaking varies by rank. For those between Bronze and Platinum, there is no restriction. For players in the Diamond rank, matches will be within the nearest two ranks. Lastly, for those in Crimson and above, you can only form one- to two-player parties.
