Conor McGregor has announced his latest business move, revealing a new entry into the energy drink market.

The UFC star confirmed the launch of MAC Energy on April 28, positioning the brand as part of the multi-billion dollar global energy drink industry. The reveal took place at the Beverage Forum in California, where McGregor introduced the product as his newest venture.

The launch marks McGregor’s return to the beverage space after previously founding Proper No. Twelve Whiskey, which was later acquired by Proximo Spirits.

McGregor unveils MAC Energy with ketone formula

In a post on X, McGregor said: “Hey folks, I have founded my latest venture. My creation for the $90bn per annum energy drinks category. However, it is unlike any other. It is the ONLY energy drink with 5grams of the ketone ‘BHB’ inside. The ‘energy’ ketone. I also have this ketone patented.”

According to details shared at the event, each can of MAC Energy contains 200mg of natural caffeine, 250mg of Cognizin, and active ketones aimed at supporting energy and focus.

The brand is set to launch on July 12 with multiple flavors, including Forbidden Green Apple, Proper Punch, and Orange Creamsicle.

A promotional video for the drink describes it as a “clean” energy option designed for sustained focus rather than spikes and crashes, emphasizing steady output and mental clarity without sugar.

The launch adds McGregor to a crowded energy drink market, with the fighter positioning MAC Energy as a functional alternative focused on performance and consistency.
