Costco is cutting a popular Kirkland Signature item after just two years, but you’ve got a few months yet to get your hands on some more.
For a lot of Costco shoppers, bulk buying some items from some of the biggest brands out there is what they do every few weeks. However, the warehouses also stock plenty of smaller brands, as well as their own Kirkland Signature products.
The latter of those have proven to be incredibly popular over the years, with many dupes tasting similar to bigger brands, just at a much reduced cost. Their golf clubs and other accessories are also great value.
Over the years, some of these Kirkland Signature-branded items have just disappeared, and another is set to do so in the near future.
Kirkland Signature beers set to leave Costco stores
As per Craft Business Daily, Costco’s Kirkland Signature co-branded beers from Deschutes Brewery are being discontinued after just two years.
According to the report, Deschutes CEO Peter Skrbek informed distributors that production is being scaled back throughout July.
They will still deliver Kirkland Signature Helles Lager and Kirkland Signature Vintage Ale from their current batch. However, these are expected to be off the shelves come September and October, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to stock up.

Some Costco fans have already said that they need to stock up on the $13.99 pack of 12 before they clear out.
“Gonna grab a few cases next time I go, that stuff is too good,” one said. “Thats a bummer, the lager was pretty damn good, especially for the price,” another added. “What a bummer. I just tried this stuff last month and have really liked it,” another commented.
As per Brewbound, Skrbek “wouldn’t be too surprised if the lager makes a return at some point,” but it ultimately remains to be seen.
