Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger have decided to part ways after a decade of being together. The real-life soap opera couple confirmed their split to TV Insider in a new statement. The pair have said that they are committed to staying friends. They will also continue to co-parent their children.

The Bold and the Beautiful stars, Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger, have decided to split after 10 years of being together. In a new statement to TV Insider, the pair have confirmed that they will continue to remain friends.
In a new statement to TV Insider, the pair said, “We’re committed to coparenting our two children and remaining friends.”
The pair first met over 15 years ago. They met during the filming of Blue Mountain State, in which Brooks starred as Alex Moran. Kruger appeared in a guest role as Julia King in the series. Over time, their connection evolved.
“We became best friends, and for a good three to six months she was telling me who to date,” Brooks told about their relationship to Soaps.com in 2016, “We were spending so much time together, and one day I just grabbed her head, and I kissed her.”
In 2014, the pair got engaged at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, while Bold and Beautiful was being filmed. The pair married in March 2016 in Hawaii.
In another interview from 2019, Kruger revealed the realities of their marriage. “The first year of marriage is no joke,” she said, “It really is the hardest…. I was always so anti-marriage for so long. And then I married him, and I was like, ‘Marriage is amazing.’ But it’s hard, it’s work.” Brooks added to this, “Yeah, you both have to work. It’s not like anybody has to work more than the other. Both people have to work.”
Professionally, both Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger remain engaged in new projects, as of now.
