The following contains major spoilers for Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time #3, on sale June 11 from Marvel Comics.
Marvel’s most murderous Merc With a Mouth is officially gunning for the Multiverse’s darkest X-Men.
In a preview for Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time #3 from Marvel Comics, fans find the once beautiful grounds of the Xavier Institute in a state of fiery ruin after being attacked by none other than Deadpool himself. Though there are still a few demonic and demented X-Men lingering about such as Havok, Darkchylde, and the Bamf Dragon, they are far from safe from Deadpool’s impending onslaught. And, if that weren’t bad enough, his new symbiote ally has given him everything he needs to make himself at home among his enemies without any of them catching on until it is already far too late.

Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time follows in the footsteps of Bunn and Talajic’s 2012 limited series, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, and its 2017 follow-up, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again. The original series saw the Deadpool of Earth-12101 embark upon a brutal killing spree after his mind and perception of reality were altered by the villainous Psycho-Man. After his experience with Psycho-Man, this iteration of Deadpool became acutely aware of his existence as a fictional character, driving him to begin slaughtering every hero and villain he could before eventually taking his rampage into the Ideaverse in the pages of Deadpool: Killustrated in 2013.
2017’s Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again followed the Deadpool of Earth-71986, who was similarly brainwashed by the villains of his world. Soon enough, this Deadpool had torn his way through the vast majority of his world’s heroes, not to mention many of those who call the infinite expanse of the cosmos their home. Fortunately, this Deadpool was eventually freed from the villains’ control and turned the tables on them before the series was brought to a close.
Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time follows the same Wade Wilson from Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again, this time as he attempts to achieve redemption by heeding the call of the strange interdimensional traveler known as Alphea. From what Alphea has told him, there might be a chance to set things right (at least in part) by traveling the Multiverse in search of the most twisted and evil versions of iconic Marvel villains to ever exist. By cutting his way through these nefarious heroes, Deadpool might just be able to save the entire Multiverse from the threat of the Flux Paradoxica, although there is no telling what cost he will have to pay to do just that.
Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time #3 will be available June 11 from Marvel Comics.
