The Minigun has once again been unvaulted and is now available on the Chapter 5 Season 3 island. The fast-firing fully automatic machine gun does significant pray and spray damage while employing mini-bullets from the magazine.
If you’re looking for the Minigun in Fortnite, here’s how you can get it.
How to get Minigun in Fortnite
Epic GamesMinigun can be found around the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 in Rare rarity.
The unvaulted Minigun can only be found in Rare (blue) rarity across the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map as floor loot, through loot chests, supply drones, or Fall Guys loot drops. It is currently only available in Battle Royale or Zero Build game modes.

You’ll be able to equip the Minigun similar to every other weapon, as it takes up one weapon slot. Here are its weapon stats:
- DPS – 228
- Damage – 19
- Magazine Size – Infinite
- Fire Rate – 12
- Reload Time – 5 seconds
- Structure Damage – 32
The best method to use a Minigun is to fire it from mid-range. It deals very little damage from long-range and is tough to shoot from close range due to its unwieldy nature, though it can still shred if you land shots.
However, you can use it as per your gameplay style since the weapon has a high recoil and a 1.5x headshot multiplier. To prevent the bullet spread and get more headshots, it’s better to use the Minigun while crouching since you’ll be more accurate when firing your shots.
