Twitch: Mizkif
Just days after the launch of his game Unrooted, Twitch star Mizkif was left raging after falling into the abyss.
After years of development, OTK co-founder Mizkif finally announced the launch of his indie platformer game, Unrooted.
Described as an “homage to games like Jump King and Foddian-style platformers,” the game has received a rather positive response from fans, with a “very positive” rating on Steam.
The description on Steam reads: “It will make you slam your desk with rage or leap for joy as you make that one jump you’ve been missing for hours… a game for masochists, by masochists.”

It turns out that description wasn’t a hyperbole, because even Mizkif lost his cool playing the game on Twitch.
While streaming, Mizkif attempted to cross “Bumblebee Bridge,” and jumped off the back of a bee onto a moving platform when he fell short and dropped to a lower part of the map.

Enraged, Twitch star stood up, took off his headset, and threw it across the room so hard that the volume on his computer changed.

Mizkif’s viewers began reacting to his fall, with one claiming that he was faking it for content.
“Stop faking it for content?” Mizkif read. “Are you f**king kidding me? You’re permabanned. Just letting you know, 12 month sub. Don’t care, you’re permabanned.”
That wasn’t his first time falling from a failed jump on Unrooted, and it wasn’t his last as he continued to play the game for several more hours before eventually deciding to end the broadcast.

One of the games used as inspiration for Unrooted is Jump King, a game that Mizkif and many other streamers have played extensively over the years.
In 2020, he spent hours playing Jump King – and raging at many of his failed jumps on the popular game.
