Pretty Little Liars: Summer School managed to undo one of the least storylines found in Season 1 by retconning it.
Season 2 of the Pretty Little Liars spin-off series — subtitled Summer School — wasted no time undoing one of the most dislikes plot conclusion from Season 1: the couple who adopts Imogen Adams’ baby.
Season 1, or Original Sin, saw Imogen grappling with being pregnant due to an assault and struggling to figure out what to do with her baby. She ultimately settles on having the baby being adopted, but viewers were enraged when it was revealed baby will be given to original series member Aria Montgomery and her high-school-teacher-turned-husband Ezra Fitz.
But, according to Nerdinitiative, Summer School completely undid that plot line by having Imogen discuss how her baby is currently living with two dads instead of Aria and Ezra.

A lot of Original Sin fans were very disappointed by the show’s decision to give Imogen’s baby to the couple with one fan writing, “I hate that PLL Original Sin ended with Imogen giving her baby to Aria and Ezra cause Ezra needs to be in JAIL.”
Though they were a fan favorite couple when the original Pretty Little Liars series was on the air, many fans have soured on Aria and Ezra’s relationship as they started dating when she was 16-years-old and he was her high school English teacher.
Summer School may have seen the backlash the adoption announcement received and decided to backtrack, which is probably for the best as Ezra is technically a criminal by real world standards.
Pretty Little Liars: Summer School premieres on May 9 through Max. In the meantime, check out all the other amazing TV shows streaming this month.
