Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Very Merry Unbirthday Quest Walkthrough

There’s a lot to celebrate in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and no one knows that better than the Wonderland locals. People like Alice love to throw a good party, especially when there’s a delicious cake and silly decorations. However, she needs help getting everything together. She’s just a child, after all, and you’re supposed to be the grown-up in the Valley.

However, not everything goes according to plan. We’ll help you plan the best unbirthday party the village has ever seen. Here’s everything you need to know to make the perfect cake, secure the decorations, and celebrate in style with Alice and friends!

How To Make The Unbirthday Cake Layers

To unlock this quest, you’ll need to reach level ten with Alice and receive a letter in the mail from Merlin. After picking up the letter, meet with Alice to discuss doing something silly together.

Alice wants to celebrate your unbirthday and sends you to Remy for some silly cooking tips. You’ll need to make a cake for the party and each layer will be a different flavor. Below are the ingredients you’ll need for each layer:

Remy will also give you some icing you can use!

Once you’ve made all three layers, bring them to Alice in the Valley.

How To Decorate The Unbirthday Cake

No cake is complete without decorations. Alice asks you to find some by speaking to two different villagers. She sends you off to find a fiery villager with knowledge of candles and a sweet-toothed villager with a love of candy.

You’ll need to track down Mushu and Vanellope to get edible decorations from them. Then, head to a crafting station and craft the Unbirthday Party Candles with the ing materials:

  • Blue Passion Lily (4)
  • Red Nasturtium (5)
  • Green Passion Lily (7)
  • Coal Ore (12)

Make sure you have the Unbirthday Party Candles, Unbirthday Cake Sprinkles, and Unbirthday Cake Lollipops in your inventory.

Bring them back to Alice, who still thinks something is missing. She sends you off again to find inedible and silly decorations from Goofy, Pumbaa, and Anna.

From them, you’ll get a silly fishing lure, a ceramic plate with a hoof print, and a set of miniature train tracks, respectively. Once you have them all, make your way to Alice’s house. There, you’ll hand everything over and begin putting the decorations on the cake.

Everything will be laid out on the table for you, so you can pick up the objects and place them on the cake with ease. Once it’s all decorated, add the kaleidoscope and speak with Alice about moving the cake somewhere more central so everyone can celebrate together.

Where To Find The Cheshire Cat In The Dream Castle

However, before you can collect the cake, it disappears. A ransom note is left behind with a riddle. Pick it up and show it to Alice. The riddle seems to point towards a plant, but it’s unclear which one.

Speak to WALL-E about plants that fit the riddle’s description. He gives you a mystery seed that you’ll need to plant and tend to. It takes about 10-20 minutes to grow, so plant it as soon as you get it.

While the plant that grows can be found on Eternity Isle, the ones you collect from there do not count towards this quest.

Collect the Purple Cactus Flower and bring it to the Cheshire Cat. If you haven’t welcomed him as a Villager yet, head into the Dream Castle to find him. If you have already placed his big red tree in the village, simply approach him there.

Once you give the Cheshire Cat the Purple Cactus Flower, he returns the cake. Give it to Alice, who asks you to set it up in a central part of the Valley.

Open the furniture menu and place the giant cake and table wherever you like!

After the cake is placed, a handful of villagers will gather to celebrate with you. Take a commemorative picture, then chat with Alice to conclude the quest. You’ll receive a fancy new dress and get to keep the Unbirthday Cake and table to decorate with.

That concludes all of Alice’s friendship quests, and you can now dress like your new best friend to express your whimsical side in style.
