Alice’s adventures in Wonderland are far from over, even when she moves into Disney Dreamlight Valley. As you get to know her more, it’ll become clear that she’s just a child in a world of grown-ups. Helping her feel at peace in the village will bring more wonder to the rest of the Valley, and you can engage in silly activities to express yourself.
As you build a friendship with Alice, you’ll unlock more quests that can bring new rewards to your village. Here’s everything you need to know to encourage Alice and unlock the secret treasure hidden behind her poem!
How To Unlock The Mimsy Were The Borogoves Friendship Quest
To unlock this quest, you’ll need to reach level four friendship with Alice and have the Forest of Valor unlocked. You’ll also need to make progress with both Merlin and Anna before the quest becomes available.
Once you meet the requirements, you can speak with Alice to begin the Mimsy Were The Borogoves quest.
Alice found a mysterious poem that she once wrote before the Forgetting, and she needs your help to find the other parts and recover a treasure she hid somewhere in the Valley.
Where To Find The First Poem In A Bottle
Alice gives you your first clue: to search for something buried near «a place of sunbaked pleasure.» While it may seem like it refers to the Sunlit Plateau, you’ll actually want to head down to Dazzle Beach.
Make your way to the staircase and descend onto the shoreline. Keep an eye out for a bottle buried in the sand. Use your Royal Shovel to dig it up, then bring it to Alice for your next clue.
Where To Find The Second Poem In A Bottle
The poem in the bottle points to a dark cavern with mystic lights. Head back to the beach and enter the Mystical Cave, making your way down the stone ramp. When you come upon the Mome Raths, speak with Alice.
The Mome Raths are fakes, but you can’t cross over them because they’re brittle and dried out.
Take your Royal Watering Can and use it on the false Mome Raths to revitalize them. Water each of the Mome Raths until you reach the bottom of the cave, then fish out the poem in the bottle from the pond. Show it to Alice to learn that the final location is the Jabberwock’s lair.
Where To Find The Jabberwock
Trek up the path from the beach to the Forest of Valor. You’re looking for a house of bark in a wooded yard, which can be tricky depending on your layout. Seek the back corner to the west of the forest for a large log with glowing yellow eyes inside.
Once you find the Jabberwock’s lair, speak with Alice. The Jabberwock bites her and she determines that you’ll need to scare the beast away with light. She sends you to go craft Wonderland Candles to brighten up the forest.
Head to a Crafting Station and use the ing materials to make six Wonderland Candles:
- Tinkering Parts (3)
- Glass (6)
- Coal Ore (9)
- Red Bell Flower (10)
- Yellow Daisy (12)
With the candles crafted, place them around the Jabberwock’s lair. Approach the log and open the chest within to collect the Kaleidoscope. Share it with Alice to complete the quest and earn additional friendship points with her!
