Disney Dreamlight Valley Players Get Alice in Wonderland Content Later This Month

Disney Dreamlight Valley will soon become curiouser and curiouser as Alice in Wonderland content will be dropping into the relaxing life simulation game later this month. Alice herself alongside the Cheshire Cat will be two new characters you can welcome into the valley on your PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, PC, or Switch.

Alice and the Cheshire Cat Join the Valley

The developer and publisher of Disney Dreamlight Valley, Gameloft, has announced that the two new characters will be heading into the game on April 23 via a free update. Entitled Wonderland Whimsy, this update adds the realm inspired by Lewis Carroll and the 1950s movie adaptation. Like the film, you’ll be diving down the rabbit hole as your custom character, seeing all manner of items like cards and cupping flowing upwards as you fall down. When you arrive in Wonderland, you’ll meet Alice.

She asks for your assistance in freeing the animals that are locked in the Queen of Hearts’ garden. You’ll find all manner of plants, even some that are living, and large mushrooms along the way. The Cheshire Cat will help you along the way as you explore the forest that you can easily get lost in. There will be stealth sections within this realm as you try to avoid the guards’ eyesight and get around the garden safely. After the quest is over, you’ll be able to invite Alice to your realm and unlock a bunch of friendship rewards. The Disney Dreamlight Valley Developer Update says we’ll be able to host our own Unbirthday Party just like the Mad Hatter.

The Cheshire Cat will be causing chaos around the valley, upsetting residents like Scrooge McDuck as he vandalizes his merchandise in the store. «Solve the riddles behind his curious antics, and after some time, you’ll be able to welcome Cheshire Cat to your valley,» explains the Developer Update. Just like the films, he seems to disappear and re-appear wherever he likes. He will be hanging around his tree a lot, however, once its placed in the valley.

The new Alice in Wonderland realm is free to access in this update.

Once you unlock the Cheshire Cat, you’ll gain the Uncrafting Station as a tool in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It will be able to give you an item’s original materials for a small Dreamlight cost. Another excellent update is that we can now expand any storage unit, letting us store more items. This has been something that’s been needed for a very long time. You’ll also be able to set up a perfect Unbirthday table with a new sub-grid for furniture, letting you place items in an organized fashion.

Garden of Whimsy Star Path

This Star Path will let you unlock Spring-themed items that are inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Fairies, a Peter Pan spinoff series. There are costumes in the Star Path that are themed to the Victorian era. There’s a red, white, and black gown inspired by the villain, the Queen of Hearts, and a green suit and hat that looks ripped from the Mad Hatter’s design.

Star Wars Content Incoming

The Force will be strong with Disney Dreamlight Valley players as new content based on Star Wars will be dropping into the Premium Shop. There’s a costume based on Anakin Skywalker’s look in the prequel trilogy, and R2-D2 will be available as a companion. Players can also wield a Lightsaber hand accessory. These items have been added to help celebrate May the Fourth (Star Wars Day). It will be great to see these items in this cozy game.
