For all the fans hoping for a sequel to Marty Supreme, it is quite obvious to say that there are no post-credit scenes at the end of the Josh Safdie sports dramedy.
Starring Timothée Chalamet in the lead role of Marty Mauser, the film follows Mauser’s obsession with becoming the best table tennis champion that no one has reached before. The film’s ending is a happy one, and although there are no post-credit scenes, there was one alternate ending that would have made the audience beg for a sequel.
There Was One Weird Alternative Ending for Marty Supreme

Well, the original ending for Marty Supreme was far more weird than usual and would have literally changed the genre of the movie if it had been kept.
At the A24 podcast, Josh Safdie revealed that he intended a literal vampire ending for the movie, which would’ve seen Marty Mauser being bitten by a vampire in the 1980s.
You’re on his eyes, we built the prosthetic for Timmy and everything, and Mr. Wonderful shows up behind him and takes a bite out of his neck, and that was the last thing in the movie.
Thankfully, the ending was later changed to a happy one with Marty Mauser having everything that he had hoped for. The film has a delayed digital release. Here’s when we can hope for a streaming date for Marty Supreme.
When Will Marty Supreme Be Available to Stream?

While it was earlier expected that Marty Supreme would be available for a Premium Video-on-Demand on February 3, 2026, the date seems to have been pushed back (via When To Stream).
The film is idneed available for pre-order on platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV for $24.99, and it has been suggested that the film will be available for PVOD on February 10, 2026 (following the standard “Tuesday release” pattern for digital films).
As for the streaming part, the film will indeed stream exclusively on Max due to A24’s ongoing output deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. Based on the previous A24 theatrical-to-streaming windows, Marty Supreme is expected to land on Max in April 2026.
Although no official statements have been released regarding the film’s digital and streaming release, there have been rough estimates following the A24 release pattern. The film is pulling in profits due to the Award season hype.
