Dragon Ball Has Officially Confirmed 2 Absolutely Broken Goku Techniques That Vegeta Can Never Learn

The real reason Vegeta can never learn two of Goku’s most powerful abilities that he could’ve mastered had Toriyama allowed it in Dragon Ball.

Dragon Ball Has Officially Confirmed 2 Absolutely Broken Goku Techniques That Vegeta Can Never Learn

As much as Goku gets all the love in Dragon Ball, Vegeta’s proud self still collects a good share of that attention, too. But sadly, Toriyama never let Vegeta stand on equal footing with Goku, at least when it comes to learning two of Goku’s most broken techniques: the Spirit Bomb and the Consistent Instant Transmission that Goku easily can.

But why is it that Vegeta couldn’t learn these two techniques? Is it because he is not strong enough? It ain’t that simple, as although most say Goku is stronger, in reality, they are arguably on equal footing. The Prince definitely deserves more love. But time has gone too far.

Why Vegeta Can’t Learn Spirit Bomb or Instant Transmission

At this point in the story, things have just progressed way too far. The power scaling has exploded so much that going back to learn a DBZ-era technique is kind of impossible for Vegeta now. It basically confirms he’s never recovering this particular loss, even under Toyotarou’s direction.

Goku learned Instant Transmission ages ago, mastering the ability to teleport anywhere instantly. Vegeta did use it once, sure, but he straight-up said he wouldn’t be able to pull it off again. And honestly, after all this time, it’s starting to look like he was right.

Then there’s the Spirit Bomb, one of Goku’s most iconic finishers. A giant flashy attack that can one-shot pretty much anything. But the catch? Only someone with a pure heart can use it. Now isn’t that a roundabout way of embarrassing Vegeta, because he’s definitely not on Goku’s level when it comes to having a cheerful, good heart.

But that doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy, though. And funny enough, this is not even the whole list. There are a few other Goku techniques Vegeta never got the chance to learning. At least he’s got Ultra Ego going for him, because these old-school moves? Yeah, they’re gone for good.

Other Goku Abilities That Vegeta Could Never Master

Out of all the crazy abilities Goku has been bestowed with, there are a few that Vegeta could never quite master. Like, Goku’s resistance to manipulation or sorcery. Goku has this weird natural immunity to mind-control tricks, while Vegeta has been caught slipping more than once.

Then there’s Kaio-Ken, Goku’s classic power multiplier. Vegeta could’ve technically learned it, sure, but he never bothered. It’s as if it just wasn’t his vibe, and he clearly didn’t care enough to try.

And that is a funny part about it, too, because Vegeta doesn’t even show interest in learning some of Goku’s signature moves like the Kamehameha, even though he definitely could.

Plus, for all his insane strength, it’s kind of ironic that Vegeta has never actually won a tournament. People argue that Goku is stronger, but when you look at the technical side of most arcs, both of them end up around the same level. It’s just that Goku gets the flashy wins, while Vegeta gets stuck with the ‘almost there’ moments. Wouldn’t you agree? Let us know in the comments.
