With Epic Games’ court battle with Apple finally over, Fortnite and other Epic Games mobile titles are finally returning to iOS devices after five years. Epic is celebrating it by doing something for gamers, and sticking it to Apple in the process.
The publisher is offering massive discounts on V-Bucks if you buy it from the Epic Games Store directly, which applies to all Epic Games-owned titles.
Epic Games Mark Return To iOS With Massive Permanent Discount

For players who spend money on Epic Games titles such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, Rocket League, V-Bucks purchases made using Epic’s own payment system in the Epic Games Store will net buyers a massive 20% discount. What makes this even better is, this is permanent and not a limited-time offer.
This new discount is live now, and a limited-time offer will make you love it even more. Until the end of August 2025, all purchases made through the Epic Games Store will also receive a 20% cashback. This means that if you buy $70 game on the Epic Games Store, you will get $14 credit that you can then use on anything in the Epic Games Store. Insane, right?
This move by Epic incentivizes gamers to make purchases directly through the Epic Games Store and not through a third-party, such as Apple’s App Store, since Apple takes a significant cut from every purchase made from its store.
The 20% cash back will be reflected in the buyer’s account two weeks after the purchase. Once it’s in your virtual wallet, you can spend it on anything in the store except subscriptions.
This limited-time 20% cash back system by Epic Games is available for those who play Fortnite on PC, mobile or streaming. While PlayStation, Xbox and Switch gamers won’t have the option to pay Epic Games directly when they buy V-Bucks on each hardware maker’s platform, console players can still opt for the Fortnite web shop and earn the 20% cash back (thanks, GameSpot).
