Erenshor Fishing Guide: How to Fish

Fishing in Erenshort is about as simple as it gets, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth your time. If you’re trying to catch rare loot (or just tired of getting beat up by mobs), fishing is a relaxing way to gather unique items, earn money, and sometimes even stumble across treasure maps.

Here’s how to do it, without accidentally smacking yourself in the face with a fishing pole.

Step 1: Get a Fishing Pole

Head to Treven Pines and buy a Fishing Pole. It’s not expensive, and you only need to buy it once.

Step 2: Equip Your Pole

Put the Fishing Pole in your hotbar or main hand. Make sure it’s selected.

Step 3: Find Water

Stand near a body of water. Any large pool, lake, or shoreline should work. Face the water directly.

Step 4: Cast Your Line

Right-click while holding the Fishing Pole. You’ll see your character cast it out. Then—wait.

No need to click or spam anything. Just let it do its thing. After 10 seconds, your character will automatically pull in the catch (or nothing, if your luck’s bad).

Step 5: Profit or Seaweed

What you pull in depends on where you’re fishing and whether it’s daytime or nighttime. Some fish only show up at night, and some are tied to specific areas.

Notes on Fishing

  • Cooldown: 12 seconds before you can fish again.

  • No input required: It’s passive—good for AFK chilling or multitasking.

  • Loot quality: Changes based on time of day and region.

  • Junk items exist: Seaweed and old boots are a thing. You’ve been warned.

What Can You Catch?

Here’s a quick look at some areas and what you might reel in:

  • Stowaway’s Step: Great for basic fish and a few nighttime rares like Moongill or Worm Eel.

  • Faerie’s Brake: Possible treasure map piece, and rare fish like the Stonemouth Bass.

  • Vitheo’s Watch: Loads of daytime-only fish, with a rare chance at Tattered Leather Boots.

  • Port Azure: Good mix of fish and junk, and yes, cloth shoes are on the table.

  • Fernalla’s Revival Plains: Mostly night-only fish. Rare chance at a ceremonial ring mold.

  • Blacksalt Strand: Day catches are common, night catches trend rarer—Moongill is the jackpot.

Final Blurb

Fishing in Erenshort won’t win you a war, but it will win you some peace and maybe a rare eel with fangs. Grab your pole, find a quiet spot, and see what bites—worst case, you get some seaweed. Best case? Treasure maps and glowing fish. Not a bad deal for 10 seconds of doing absolutely nothing.
