EVERY Buffed & Reworked Unit in Anime Last Stand – Universe 7 Update 58 ALS Guide

Update 58 for Anime Last Stand just dropped, and it’s packed with massive buffs, divine upgrades, and a few critical nerfs to shake up your strategy. Titled the Universe 7 Update, this patch mostly revolves around Dragon Ball characters, bringing reworked versions of Broly, Vegeta, and more. Whether you’re chasing high damage, long-range AoE, or boss-killing passives, this breakdown will cover everything new so you can decide who’s worth investing your resources in.

All Divine Boosted & Reworked Units in Anime Last Stand

1. Divine Boosted Broly

Broly is now a monster of raw damage. On placement, he deals 20 million every 5.55 seconds with a 45% crit chance, scaling up to over 2.76 billion damage every 10 seconds when maxed. Thanks to his passives Limitless Growth and Outnumbered, his damage, crit damage, and range all stack throughout the waves. He evolves into a Full AoE hybrid unit with insane reach and output—easily one of the most overpowered units this patch.

2. Divine Boosted Vegeta (Ultra Ego)

Vegeta gets a remodel and a solid boost in utility. On placement, he starts at 9.35 million every 5.02 seconds and scales with passives like Dark Ego and Destructive Aura, which add bonus crit damage and apply weak plasma. At max upgrade, he deals 1.29 billion every 8.62 seconds with cone AoE and added plasma effects. While not as dominant as Broly, his crit synergy makes him dangerous when built right.

3. Divine Boosted Vegeta Toe (Fused Warrior Blue)

This unit is loaded with passives and utility. He gains more damage and range over time via Fused Warrior, Splitting Sword, and Warrior’s Pride passives. His Energy Beam and Godly Energy Beam abilities are devastating nukes, with the latter dealing up to 3,000x current damage, though it comes with a 30-second stun and damage penalty. Even without enchant, he averages around 100 million DPS, making him a decent all-rounder with burst potential.

4. Divine Boosted Frieza (Lord Alien Dark)

Frieza received a divine boost but underperforms compared to the rest. His final form dishes out 426 million every 4.87 seconds, and with hemorrhage included, he pushes close to a billion. Still, his circle AoE limits his overall effectiveness. Even after stacking 100% passive buffs, he doesn’t stand out—especially when compared to Broly or Vegeta.

Buffed & Nerfed Units

5. Luffy (Massive Buff)

Luffy has been reworked and now comes with a load of passives:

  • Toon Force: Applies random debuffs like poison, crippled, or plasma.
  • Liberating Drums: Triggers a special AoE mode with a powerful post-sleep nuke.
  • Combat Coding: Builds crit damage over time, with bonus attack after max stacks.
  • Supreme Wrath: Can stun bosses for 5 seconds.

His Ultimate Kill ability deals 500 billion + 75% of total damage dealt, making him one of the strongest nukers. Though his base damage progression is slower, his passives and utility make him excellent for long rounds and boss-heavy stages.

6. Gilgamesh / Enkidu (Nerf)

Gilgamesh’s summon Enkidu was nerfed by removing the Daze effect from its passive, which used to stun bosses. This drastically reduces his utility, especially in crowd control or boss-killing situations.

Update 58 in Anime Last Stand brought a mix of heavy hitters and surprising letdowns. Broly easily steals the spotlight as the strongest divine-boosted unit, thanks to his massive scaling and full AoE damage. Vegeta Ultra Ego and Fused Warrior Blue both offer solid damage and great utility, while Frieza falls flat despite the divine upgrade. The rework to Luffy turns him into a powerful AoE unit with unique status effects and a deadly ultimate, while Gilgamesh’s nerf makes him less appealing in high-end content. For players looking to optimize their rosters, this patch offers several units that are well worth the investment—just be careful where you spend your resources.
