With the ongoing series of the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga reaching peak moments in the narrative, we can safely begin to assume that, once a pinnacle of power in the series, Gojo Satoru has now been surpassed. And might have done it? Well, it’s none other than the original series’ main protagonist, Yuji Itadori.

While Gojo is definitely dead by the end of the main manga series, his teachings and influence still carry on 68 years later after the conclusion of the Culling Game, especially through Yuji. Not only that, but the prequel also shows many ways in which Yuji has surpassed him and can now be called the series’ strongest.

5 Yuji’s “Dismantle” Sets Him in a Different League

In the latest chapter of the manga (Chapter 20), Yuji makes his presence known and showcases one of the most unexpected attacks in the JJK universe. Yuji used his Dismantle to wipe out the massive horde of cursed spirits that were migrating in fear of Dabura.

While Tsurigi and Yuji both aimed at the horde of Cursed Spirits, Yuji’s attack was just astonishing. His attack created a massive nuclear explosion that wiped out every one of the Spirits. Furthermore, if we take Tokyo’s geography into account, the range is almost 6 kms across, showing how powerful and destructive his attack was.

4 Yuji Beats Gojo in Pure Brute Strength in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

Even before becoming a sorcerer, Yuji was athletic and had exceptional physical strength. In contrast to that, Gojo Satoru‘s greatest strength lay in the precision of his cursed energy, enhanced by the Six Eyes. He imbued his punches with cursed energy, raising his combat ability, but he was never truly known for having brute force.

Yuji’s ability to use Black Flash at will in the sequel manga propelled him to an entirely different level, making him a master at close combat. While the strength difference was always there, the Modulo manga highlighted it even more.

3 Yuji Remains in His 20s Despite Time Passing for Decades

In the sequel manga series by Gege Akutami, Yuji essentially becomes immortal, living in his 20s for decades, trapped in his prime while outliving all his friends.  As a perfect vessel and a hybrid similar to his brother Choso, Yuji became saturated with cursed energy.

While this is another instance in which he surpassed Gojo in something, his immortality was more like a curse than a blessing. He was forced to watch his friends die of old age and was deeply traumatized by living more than 60 years alone. Furthermore, he also recognizes that his story has ended and makes way for the new generation while he stood in the shadows.

2 Yuji Becomes More Precise and Thorough With Cursed Energy

Yuji displayed one of the greatest feats of power and precision in Chapter 19 of the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga series. Yuji used his Piercing Blood with high precision, even at places he cannot see physically, which places him on par with, if not higher than, the level of Sukuna and Gojo.

Additionally, Mino noted in the manga that he was unable to sense Yuji’s cursed energy until the moment Yuji imbued his fist with it, emphasizing just how precise he was with his control of Cursed Energy now. Whereas Gojo’s status as a sorcerer with seemingly infinite reserves was made possible by the power of the Six Eyes.

1 Recreating the Limitless Phenomenon Without Six Eyes

Gojo is widely renowned for being “untouchable” in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime and manga series, mainly due to his use of Limitless, empowered by the Six Eyes. In the manga sequel, Yuji does a similar thing, where physical attacks couldn’t even touch him, without using the Six Eyes.

While it is yet to be revealed what this technique is and how Yuji developed it, it is a massive feat for him. However, we think that it may stem from the inherited technique he obtained from Sukuna. Nevertheless, if Yuji has managed to obtain the Limitless phenomenon without Six Eyes, he is already way above Gojo’s league.
