According to series creator John Griffin, fans might be looking at a potential release date as close as early 2026, given that filming is wrapped up before the summer break hits. Viewers have been speculating that the Town and its residents are connected through time and that they are stuck in a loop that keeps repeating because of something that may have happened to the original dwellers. The theory is confirmed in the Season 3 finale when Tabitha and Jade finally remember their shared past and the reason why they see the Ghoulish Children. However, that doesn’t even begin to cover the massive block of mysteries that’s beneath the tip of the iceberg. Season 3 answered several of the audience’s questions, but it left them with more, especially with the rebirth of the Smiley monster and the unceremonious demise of Jim Matthews.

Anyone who didn’t get their throats slit by a monster or stabbed in the eye by Sara Myers might have a chance to come back in From Season 4. Most of the major cast members are expected to return for the upcoming season, including Harold Perrineau, who oversees the residents’ survival as Boyd Stevens. Alongside Boyd, we have the Matthews family, the most important household in Fromville, consisting of Tabitha, Julie, Ethan, and Jim (deceased), played by the talented Catalina Sandino Moreno, Hannah Cheramy, and Simon Webster, respectively.
Since Jim was unfortunately confirmed to be dead in the Season 3 finale, it’s doubtful that actor Eion Bailey will return to reprise his role as the Matthews family’s patriarch. However, since we’re talking about the tricky world of Fromville, one can never be sure if a character has actually gone for good. Furthermore, David Alpay’s Jade will play a crucial role in Season 4 since he has been confirmed to be directly linked to Fromville and Tabitha, for that matter. At this point, it’s all speculation since the series does not shy away from putting characters on the chopping block; one may never know that their favorite character might be the next one to go down.

Fans have been patiently waiting for an exciting update on From Season 4 ever since actor Harold Perrineau, who plays Sheriff Boyd, revealed in a very From-esque fashion that the horrors will continue in the next season. In a short video, the actor pulled down a bottle from the series’ infamous «Bottle Tree», revealing a message inside that read that From has been renewed for Season 4. Unfortunately, there haven’t been any solid updates since then besides the fact that filming might begin sometime later this year, making an early 2026 release the likeliest of possibilities. Moreover, given that previous seasons have consistently run for ten episodes, it’s likely that Season 4 will follow the same format.
