In a recent tweet from @Mr_Husky1 on X, the user alleged that The Matrix actor and Grant “have just dropped a DOUBLE BOMBSHELL baby announcement — welcoming twin babies — and it’s the TWINS’ NAMES that are breaking the internet!” Apparently,
They waited years. They kept it private. Then, on a quiet morning in Orlando, Florida… they shared a single post. Two newborns resting gently in Keanu’s arms. A soft, overwhelmed smile — and unmistakable tears — on both Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant’s faces.
Plus, the source even claimed that “the image was simple,” and was released without any press release or interviews: “Just love, relief, and a moment clearly meant to be theirs before it became everyone else’s.” Oh, and also, that it was actually the twins’ names that captured “the world’s attention.”
But before you fall for this trap and the very believable photo attached to the tweet, here’s the truth: Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant did not welcome a baby together, let alone twins. Nor is Grant pregnant, in case you might be wondering. To put it simply, these are baseless rumors, put out there without any reliable source backing them up.
As of this writing, Reeves and Grant are very much still only dating, going strong since first going from opening a small-press publishing company (the X Artists’ Books publishing house) together in 2017 to making their official red carpet debut as a couple at a benefit for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles in 2019.

Prior to these latest reports about the pair welcoming twins together, rumors had Keanu Reeves, 61, and Alexandra Grant, 52, secretly walking down the aisle and saying ‘I do’ to each other. But of course, those were false as well, and neither the actor nor the visual artist hesitated to publicly comment on the same.
In an interview with E! News at the New York City premiere of Good Fortune, he cleared the air on the rumors in October last year, saying,
Well, that wasn’t the first time. We’ve been going out for a long time. The wedding, it’s a nice thing. People did a lot of nice messages and stuff, but Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing. Like, ‘Thank you, but here’s the reality.’
Grant, on the other hand, took to her social media to shut down all those false marriage reports. On her Instagram handle, she posted an image of the two kissing at an art installation, writing,
This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss! I’m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding. Well, they might not be married, but that hasn’t stopped Reeves and Grant from going as strong as ever. Even though the two have spent more than half a decade together and in love, they still appear to be as smitten with each other as ever.

Has Keanu Reeves Ever Been Married or Had a Baby?
As a matter of fact, Keanu Reeves has never been married before, though he did once have a child – and there’s a pretty tragic story behind it. This goes back to the late 1990s, when he was in love with production assistant Jennifer Syme. The two had met in 1998 at a party for his alt-rock band Dogstar, and they immediately kicked off.
Around a year later, Syme was found to be pregnant. However, tragedy struck when the two welcomed a stillborn daughter, Ava Archer Syme-Reeves, in 1999. Stricken with the grief of losing her, the two eventually parted ways. But that wasn’t the end of heartbreak for them.
A little while later, on April 1, 2001, Syme got into a brutal road accident after attending a late-night bash thrown by Marilyn Manson. Apparently, while she had been driven home safely by another guest in the early hours of the morning, she decided to hit the road solo not long after and ended up crashing into a line of parked cars along Cahuenga Boulevard in L.A.
The collision was so deadly that Syme was partially thrown from the vehicle and died on the spot. Per reports from the authorities that followed, she didn’t have her seatbelt on and also had alcohol in her system. Just like that, Reeves was struck with tragedy once again as he lost Syme at just 28.
But nothing lasts forever, and it feels like the grief paved the way for happiness to once again flow in Keanu Reeves’ life as well. This seems especially true considering how genuinely happy he looks with Alexandra Grant. If anything, we wish this particular power couple of Hollywood many more decades of happiness, love, and prosperity together – married or not.
