The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

The visual upgrades in Oblivion Remastered are unquestionable. The remaster is easily the best-looking vanilla Elder Scrolls game and will likely remain so for quite some time, as The Elder Scrolls 6 is still years away.
The upgraded visuals of Oblivion Remastered have given us some beautiful-looking armour sets, like daedric, mithril and crusader. However, some fans think the best-looking armour in the game is one you find during the Fighter’s Guild quest, Amelion’s Debt.
This quest has you delving into the tomb of Brusef Amelion, the warrior grandfather of Biene Amelion, who has inherited a sizeable gambling debt from her father. After retrieving the armour from the tomb, you can optionally give it to Biene to help her pay off the debt, or you can just pay off the debt yourself and keep the armour.
A Tasteful Green
Brusef Amelion’s armour is quite fetching in Oblivion Remastered. In the original, the set was essentially lighter-toned ebony armour, but the green tones of the armour rarely shone through. In the remaster, the set is a beautiful light green that really pops in the new lighting.
«Brusef Amelion’s set has to be one of the best in the Remaster,» writes Jtenka in a recent Reddit thread, where many agree that the new-look armour set is among the best-looking in the game. Jtenka combines Brusef Amelion’s armour with an aqua silk hood, a complementary combo.
The downside, of course, is that the armour’s stats aren’t very good. It’s comparable to leather armour, and weighs six times as much. However, it is far more durable than leather armour, at the very least.
«Fashion over function, always,» writes Serallas, defending the use of the armour set. As many people have pointed out, any piece of armour can be elevated through the wonderful world of enchantment stacking.
There are several other threads praising the set: «The Brusef Amelion armour set looks so great in the remaster…» writes SavageMatHorror. «The Brusef Amelion armour is beautiful in the remaster,» reads the title of another thread by gingerwhiskered.
