Soccer fans wanting to own a piece of the game to commemorate the tournament’s eventual winners can do literally just that. A new addition to FIFA‘s online store is a limited number of preserved pieces of the pitch where the 2026 final will be played.
The limited-edition collectible is available through the soccer governing body’s official store ahead of the final, though buyers will have to wait until after the final on July 19 to receive it.
World Cup collectible includes actual pitch from the final
Officially titled the 2026 FIFA World Cup Piece of the Pitch – Foundation Edition, the collectible contains “an original fragment of the iconic Final playing surface,” preserved inside a premium acrylic display and will set you back a tidy $450.
According to FIFA, the acrylic also functions as a USB keepsake containing an authenticity film, and is presented in a premium hinged shoulder box with spot UV detailing.
Each Piece of the Pitch costs $450.
Because the pitch won’t be removed until after the tournament concludes, the item is currently only available as a pre-order, with shipping expected following the 2026 World Cup final.
The tournament’s showpiece match is scheduled to take place on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, meaning buyers will have to wait until after the final before receiving their piece of football history.
As for which two teams will meet in the final, that has yet to be determined. On July 11, England secured its place in the semi-finals, where it will meet Argentina, with France and Spain competing in the other. Both matches take place on July 14 and 15, respectively.
