The Campfire Part 4 update in Grow a Garden introduces several new pets for players to collect, including one of the most unique companions in the event: the Flame Bear. Unlike most of the new pets that hatch directly from Campfire Eggs, Flame Bear requires a special crafting recipe, making it one of the more challenging additions to unlock. If you’re trying to complete the Campfire Collection or simply want every limited pet from the event, here’s everything you need to know about getting the Flame Bear in Grow a Garden.
How to Get Flame Bear in Grow a Garden
Flame Bear cannot be obtained by hatching a Campfire Egg like the other event pets. Instead, you’ll need to craft it at the Campfire Workshop using the following materials:
- 1 Campfire Egg
- 1 Polar Bear
- 15 Million Cash
Once you’ve gathered all three requirements, head to the Campfire Workshop and start the crafting process. After it finishes, you’ll receive the exclusive Flame Bear pet.
Since one of the required materials is a Campfire Egg, you’ll first need to spend time collecting event resources before crafting the pet.
How to Get a Campfire Egg

The Campfire Egg is crafted at the Campfire Workshop.
You’ll need:
- 1 Rare Egg
- 1 Mango Seed
- 1 Billion Cash
After submitting the materials, the Campfire Egg takes around 45 minutes to craft. Besides being used for Flame Bear, the egg can also hatch several other event pets, making it one of the most valuable crafting items in the Campfire update.
How to Get a Polar Bear
The second ingredient is the Polar Bear pet. You can obtain a Polar Bear by hatching Legendary Eggs purchased from the Pet Egg Shop. Since the Polar Bear isn’t guaranteed to appear, you may need to hatch multiple Legendary Eggs before getting one.
If you’re having trouble finding it, trading with other players is another option that can save a lot of time.
Is Flame Bear Worth Getting?
- If you’re working toward the Campfire Collection, the answer is yes.
Flame Bear counts as one of the required event pets needed to increase your collection progress. Since you only need to complete around 80% of the Campfire Collection to unlock the Campfire Shovel, obtaining Flame Bear can help you reach that milestone much faster.
Even if you’ve already unlocked the Campfire Shovel, Flame Bear remains a limited event pet that collectors may want to keep before the Campfire event ends.
Flame Bear is one of the standout pets added during the Campfire Part 4 update in Grow a Garden. Although it requires more work than the other event pets, the crafting process is straightforward once you’ve collected the necessary materials. Whether you’re trying to complete the Campfire Collection or simply expand your pet inventory, Flame Bear is a great limited-time companion that’s worth adding before the event comes to an end.
