Epic Games is offering more free Fortnite cosmetics for a limited time. With the release of Slurp Rush, a new Reload map, you can now unlock two more items for free. These items are only available until April 20, so make sure to add them to your locker as soon as possible.
In this guide, we will explain how to unlock the Route Kit Back Bling and the Elite’s Sigil Wrap in Fortnite. Both of these items are unlocked via Twitch Drops, and the process is very simple.
How to unlock free Twitch Drops items in Fortnite?
The release of a new Fortnite Reload map brings more free items. To unlock them, you simply need to watch Fortnite streams on Twitch for an hour. The first item, the Elite’s Sigil Wrap, is unlocked after 30 minutes. Once you claim it, you’ll be able to unlock the Route Kit Back Bling by watching streams for 30 minutes more.
To unlock the free items, you need to follow these steps:
- Log in to your Twitch account or create one
- Link your Twitch and Epic Games accounts
- Go to any participating channel
- The channel must stream Fortnite and have Drops enabled
- Watch the stream for 30 minutes for the wrap
- Watch the stream for 60 minutes for the back bling
- Claim the free cosmetics
Once you connect your accounts and start watching, you can track your progress on the Inventory page. Keep in mind that these free items will expire on Sunday, April 20, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. However, if you unlock them, they will stay in your Fortnite account forever.
