Funko saves its most exclusive Pop releases for conventions throughout the year, and since Anime Expo is right around the corner, the figures attendees will be able to buy before anyone else have been revealed. Pulling from all sorts of fandoms so that there’s, hopefully, something for everyone, this year’s Anime Expo selection includes appearances from One Piece, Hello Kitty, Godzilla, and more.

The biggest of Funko’s Anime Expo Pop reveals is its new Godzilla figure. Not just because he’s easily the most widely recognized character of the eight reveals, but the Pop is quite literally bigger than all the others. While the other seven Anime Expo exclusives will be regular Pops, so around five inches tall, the upcoming Godzilla figure will be Super Sized.

And Finally, Godzilla Minus One Is Getting Some Love

Funko hasn’t revealed the exact dimensions of its Super Sized Godzilla Pop; however, based on previous Super Sized releases, the collectible homage to the kaiju will be between six and seven inches tall. Not a big difference between it and a regular Pop, but big enough that it will tower over them. Best of all, the Pop is modeled after the version of Godzilla from Godzilla Minus One, making it the first Funko Pop from the highest-rated Godzilla movie of all time.

Godzilla Minus One’s first Funko Pop isn’t the only figure that will be released during Anime Expo weekend. Hello Kitty’s Kuromi is getting in on the fun too with a very limited edition Royalty Pop. While all of the Anime Expo exclusives will be hard to get, Kuromi’s unique new Pop will be particularly tricky to pin down since only 3,000 of them have been made. Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever, and it won’t take long for them to sell out.

Since these Pops are for Anime Expo, it’s only right that some anime characters are included. The One Piece rollout continues with Koby’s arrival, and he’s joined by characters from Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, and Solo Leveling. There is, of course, the Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman Yu-Gi-Oh, exclusively revealed by TheGamer, that will be joining them.

Even if you aren’t going to be in attendance at Anime Expo, which begins on July 3, 2025, you will still be able to buy the new Pops. All eight will be available exclusively through Funko during Anime Expo weekend. The exact times their store pages will go live will be revealed closer to the event.
