The Va’ruun-themed Starfield: Shattered Space expansion gives players some more insight about the mysterious, Serpent-worshiping faction. Apart from experiencing new quests and exploration on a fully handcrafted planet, players also get to use some Va’ruun weaponry that can only be obtained from this DLC.
There are plenty of overpowered weapons in Starfield. The Shattered Space DLC’s content is admittedly light when it comes to new weapons, and if you want to collect all of them, here’s a list containing all the new guns and melee weapons that we’ve encountered so far.

There are six new weapons from the Shattered Space DLC, and players can find them as they complete quests or explore Va’ruun’kai’s curated map. As with most other weapons in the game, you may come across pre-modified or high-rarity versions of the following:
Weapon Name |
Category |
Base Stats |
Description |
---|---|---|---|
Va’ruun Quickstrike |
Rapid-fire, energy-based sidearm |
Va’ruun Starlash |
An Equinox modified to shoot harder, but slower |
Va’ruun Longfang |
An Orion that shoots harder and faster at the cost of magazine size and range |
Va’ruun Starstorm |
Heavy Particle machine gun |
Va’ruun Penumbra |
Explosive rifle with high damage but slow rate of fire |
Va’ruun Schimaz |
Va’ruun-style one-handed sword |
Out of these weapons, the Penumbra, Schimaz, Starstorm, and Quickstrike are the ones that come with unique models. The Longfang and Starlash are variants of the regular laser rifles found in other sectors of the Settled Systems. The weapons themselves have no special features other than their unique stat spreads, and if players can mod these Starfield weapons just like most other guns in the game.
It’s also worth noting that Shattered Space now lets players craft grenades. This includes Vortex Grenades, which are great for clumping enemies together for powerful AOE weapons. You can start making your own Vortex Grenades at any Industrial Workbench after you make enough progress in the DLC’s story. These are extremely useful, especially when used together with powers that let you see enemies through walls in Starfield.
For PC players who want to test these weapons without going through the hassle of finding them, you can use the «player.additem [item ID]» console command to add one directly to your inventory. You can use this command for almost all items in the game. If you don’t know the ID of an item, type «help [item name]» in the console, and a list of relevant item IDs should appear.
