Type Soul can be a tough challenge for newcomers. With these beginner tips, players can learn the basics of the game.
Like many other Roblox RPGs, Type Soul offers you a large selection of weapons, abilities, and clans. At first, new players can easily get confused with everything the game has to offer. That's why in this Type Soul guide, we'll give some tips for beginners.
All players and NPCs in Type Soul are divided into three factions. Besides the obvious differences in abilities, they all have different progression paths. Before you set off on your adventure, you must decide which side to take.
Type Soul: Beginner Guide
A large part of Type Soul gameplay comes down to grinding. It is necessary to increase your Grade, which is essentially a rank. At higher Grades, players will unlock new activities and abilities, providing more options. But first, you'll need to decide on your faction.
Choose Your Faction Wisely
There are three main factions in Type Soul, namely Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow (Arrancar). Along with their different abilities, their main difference comes down to progression.
Shinigami has a progression path of average complexity, with many activities in which you can take part. Quincy, on the other hand, offers a much simpler progression system. And finally, Hollows feature the hardest path, as you will need to evolve quite a bit before you can become a true Arrancar. However, you will still have to die and become a lost soul at the beginning to join one of these Factions in Type Soul:
- Quincy — You need to go through the tunnel at the edge of Karakura Town and get to the Wanden Gate, where you can interact with the statue to become a Quincy.
- Shinigami — Find Kisuke NPC in Town, and you will become a Soul Reaper.
- Hollows — Just press CTRL + K to drop your humanity and become one of the Hollows.
Almost Everything Depends On RNG
Starting from your clan and ending with weapons and abilities, it all depends on your luck. Some items have a high drop chance, while other, rarer items have a much lower chance of being found. Don't get disappointed if you don't get the Shikai or Partial Resurrección you wanted. You can change your abilities and weapons using Reroll items, of which there are quite a few in the game.
You Can Change Your Faction
If you get bored after hours of playing Shinigami and want to try another Faction, you will need a Soul Ticket. This item allows players to become a Lost Soul again. However, be careful, as you will lose all your progress and will have to start over as a different Faction in Type Soul.
Don't Skip Raids
There are quite a few different Raids in Type Soul. Each of them will reward you not only with valuable Exp but also with various items and consumables. In addition, completing KT Raids is necessary to interact with the KT Raid Shop, where you can buy many useful accessories.
