- How To Beat The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master In Black Myth: Wukong
The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master is one of the trickiest bosses players may face in Black Myth: Wukong. There are multiple phases of the fight and the last one, which is the most dangerous, requires a special Vessel to help the Destined One defeat the boss.
Players will encounter the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master in chapter 4 at the Court of Illumination Keeper’s Shrine in the Temple of Yellow Flowers, as he's the final boss of chapter 4. But before fighting the boss, it's recommended to unlock the secret area to obtain the required Vessel, which is the Weaver's Needle. Here's how players can find Weaver's Needle location and beat the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master in Black Myth: Wukong.

The Weaver's Needle in Black Myth: Wukong is obtained near the end of chapter 4 when players unlock the secret area, Purple Cloud Mountain. To reach it, the Destined One must trigger the Venom Daoist Quest in Black Myth: Wukong and fight the enemy in two separate locations. The first is in the Webbed Hollow, and the second is in the Temple of Yellow Flowers. Once the fight is over, Venom Daoist reveals the entrance of the secret area before dying.

Enter the Purple Cloud Mountain and proceed into the secret area until you reach the Duskveil boss. It's a tricky boss with two phases, so make sure to have some medicine for extra buffs in Black Myth: Wukong. Luckily for players, if they haven't defeated the Scorpionlord, he will come and fight the boss during the first phase.

However, once the second phase begins, Scorpionlord dies and won't respawn. So, if players also die, they must fight the first phase of Duskveil alone. Eventually, once the boss is defeated, a cutscene plays and the Destined One is rewarded with the Weaver's Needle Vessel.
How To Beat The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master In Black Myth: Wukong
There are a total of four phases of the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master boss fight in Black Myth: Wukong, but it's not as bad as it seems.
First Phase
Close
Upon triggering the boss fights, the Destined One will fight the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master with all the Spider Sisters and remove almost 15% of HP. Luckily for players, this phase only happens once, so if they die, the boss fight begins with HP already reduced to 85%.
Second Phase
Close
The moment the Spider Sisters disappear, the second phase begins. The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master will start swinging his sword while moving around, so you can immobilize him and do a combo attack or two. Although it is tempting to use A Pluck of Many Spell, leave it till the final phase.
Close
After a while, he goes underground and tries to attack players. Eventually, he stays underground with only the tail out, and poison spreads everywhere. Then he throws the sword at a location close to you and emerges in that spot. The best solution here is to use a Transformation to dodge the poison as well as save some much-needed Gourd heals. This way, players can also use the Transformation’s special attacks while the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master is vulnerable. The Red Tides works well as it can also cause some long-lasting burn damage.
Close
Another annoying move of the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master is when the boss uses his talismans to infuse the sword with Thunder. The attack becomes quicker and harder to dodge, and if that isn’t enough, it ends with many Thunder-infused talismans attacking the players. Use the Cloud Step Spell to evade the attack, as the talismans are incredibly fast.
Third Phase
Close
The Hundred-Eyes Daoist drops the sword and surrounds the arena with a barrier that buffs his attack and debuffs the Destined One’s stamina. He starts fighting with his fists and tail more, so expect some quick attacks. After the cutscene, dodge the boss's quick attack and use the Weaver’s Needle to remove the debuff and tie the Hundred-Eyes Daoist Master for a few seconds.
If, by any chance, you don’t have the Vessel, you need to beat the boss with a debuffed stamina until the fight is over, and any Transformation will be unavailable.
Reuse some of the medicine while the boss is transitioning to the third phase, as it will be hard to do it later.
Fourth Phase
Close
Once the Hundred-Eyes Daoist Master is tied up, attack him quickly. When the Weaver’s Needle effect is gone, use A Pluck of Many to cause massive damage while the boss is still confused and try to catch him off guard with a Spirit attack.
Close
After the clones are gone, don’t get too close or the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master will perform a deadly AoE attack. Approach him and land a few hits, then move away from him. Repeat the steps until the fight is over.
