Capcom Bringing Monster Hunter Wilds Demo to Gamescom 2024
Capcom has now officially outlined its Gamescom 2024 lineup, which will include five games. The star of the show will be the much-anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, which will be showcased via its first-ever demo. Specifically, Capcom plans to bring over 60 playable demo stations to the event, covering more than 900 square meters (2,952ft²) in total.
Senior members of the game's development team will also be present on the showroom floor, with that entourage comprising Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, director Yuya Tokuda, and executive director and art director Kaname Fujioka. Capcom promised that this trio of officials will share more insights about the game at the company's Gamescom 2024 stage. Monster Hunter Wilds is currently targeting a 2025 release.
Capcom is also using the upcoming convention as an opportunity to showcase Street Fighter 6's Terry Bogard. Gamescom 2024 attendees will have a chance to try out the Fatal Fury protagonist's SF6 rendition ahead of Terry Bogard's fall 2024 debut, which is historically significant for marking the Street Fighter series' first-ever guest character. Ace Attorney Investigations Collection will also be featured in Capcom's Gamescom 2024 hall in the form of a demo. The bundle comprising Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and AA Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit is scheduled to hit the market on September 6.
