Disney Dreamlight Valley developer Gameloft has recently teased more “space and freedom” for players to decorate their Valleys during the announcement of the game’s current roadmap. Decoration is a big part of Disney Dreamlight Valley, and gamers will likely be happy with this mysterious upcoming feature.
Ever since its early access release in 2022 and subsequent 1.0 launch at the end of 2023, Disney Dreamlight Valley has been constantly putting out new updates. The last major update the game received was “The Lucky Dragon” in June, which introduced the new Mulan Realm to Disney Dreamlight Valley. During the update, Mulan and Mushu were also added as Villagers, and the game received the new “Majesty and Magnolias” Star Path.
This week, Gameloft revealed a roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley, indicating what fans can expect until the end of the year. One small detail has been spotted by fans on social media, however, and it indicates that players may see a new feature that will give them increased space and freedom to decorate their Valleys in the future. Gameloft did not describe this teased feature in detail, though, only revealing that the team started to work on it due to high demand from fans.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Teases New Decoration Features
This information was not highlighted among the major updates promised in the roadmap, but it caused speculation among fans. While some people believed that Gameloft could give players a fully customizable one-off plot of land to do whatever they want, others argued it was more likely that players would get the ability to move objects such as ponds in their valley with more freedom. Unfortunately, it looks like Gameloft is just starting to work on this feature, so it may take a while before gamers can decorate their Valleys in Disney Dreamlight Valley however they wish.
Many other details were revealed in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s roadmap, though. The next major update will be in August, bringing Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, as well as a new Star Path. Gamers who purchased the “A Rift in Time” paid DLC will also be able to access the final segment of the story in August, and it was revealed that Timon and Pumbaa will come to Disney Dreamlight Valley in October.
Gameloft also teased a showcase with more information coming up sometime during 2024, which will likely announce more features and brand-new Disney Dreamlight Valley characters apart from the ones that are already known. Hopefully, the new features will be as exciting as the community is making them out to be.
