Needle Knight Leda is the leader of a group called 'Miquella's Followers' and is the first NPC you'll encounter related to Elden Ring'sShadow of the Erdtree DLC. You first speak to Leda next to Miquella's cocoon in Mohg's arena, and you'll encounter her a variety of other times as you progress through the Shadow Lands.
As her name suggests, Leda fights with a pretty thin sword (it's actually one of the rare few Light Greatswords) and has a whole lot of lightning-fast slashes and stabs when using this weapon. Thankfully, you can also get Leda's Sword for yourself, alongside all of her armor as well. It's a bit involved, so let's go over exactly how you go about obtaining Leda's Sword in Elden Ring.

Not only is Leda's Sword absolutely beautiful in terms of its design, but this Light Greatsword is honestly just a fantastic weapon all around. Its moveset, whether 1H or 2H, is very good, its default Ash of War (Needle Piercer) is incredibly useful though a bit odd in its function, it has great default scaling, and it has relatively low stat requirements.
Because it's a Light Greatsword, it pretty much gets all the benefits of a standard Greatsword, while also being able to be swung faster for more utility. The Ash of War in particular needs a bit of extra explanation due to its unique effect. Basically, when Needle Piercer is used, ten golden needles are summoned in the air around your target before firing down at (and into) them from all directions. The interesting thing is, however, that on top of dealing damage, these needles also purge the target of all ailments and special effects. This can be used to get rid of an enemy or boss's buffs or even used to remove a negative ailment you've applied to a boss so you can reapply it for extra damage or to re-proc certain equipment. All-in-all, out of all the new weapons added in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Leda's Sword is one of the best.
