Playing online in Endless Ocean Luminous is one of the best ways to up your experience in the game, find new creatures to scan, and enjoy your dive with others while searching for rare items and fish. However, taking part in Shared Dives is not a clear process, and many players might be unsure what it entails.
For those who are looking to start diving with others, we will show you the whole process and what you'll need to do with others to successfully complete a Shared Dive. Here's everything you can do to enjoy your time with fellow divers.
How to Start a Shared Dive in Endless Ocean Luminous
To start your own Shared Dive in Endless Ocean Luminous, where you can work together with others to scan creatures and find salvage, open the game and go under Shared Dives. From here, choose 'Start Shared Dive', and you'll open up a new Shared Dive for others to join. Each Shared Dive will last one hour, and any other players of up to 10 can join your dive at random. You can also invite up to 30 friends.
When starting your own Shared Dive, there are a ton of tasks you can complete to gain experience and money. This includes:
Close
- Scanning new creatures throughout the area
- Exploring the region (You will do this along with the others who join your dive, who will help you explore the region and unlock new locations)
- Pick up salvaged items
- Discover UMLs (Unique Marine Life) with others by visiting the marked locations on the map with an orange circle. When you arrive in the area, there will be a flashing orange circle on your screen to alert you how close you are to the Unique Marine Life.
In Shared Dives, you can also place tags on fish and salvage items to alert your fellow divers of their location. This can be extremely helpful in assisting others in advancing through the game. In these Shared Dives, you can also visit the map, and scroll to one of the other players to warp to their location. This will make it easier to work together to find Unique Marine Life as you both search for the strange biometric signs. There will usually be seven targets to locate, and your guide Sera will inform you of their possible locations.
How to Join a Shared Dive in Endless Ocean Luminous
Instead of making your own Shared Dive, you can also join someone else's Shared Dive. You can go to the Shared Dive menu, and you'll notice 'Join Shared Dive' at the bottom. To do this, you'll need to have a Shared Dive ID. You can get this from your friends if you want to join their dive.
This is a great way to play with your friends, as they can supply you with their Shared Dive ID, so you can all play together and progress in the story. Joining someone else's Shared Dive will give you the same tasks as we mentioned before when creating your own Shared Dive. You'll work together to uncover UMLs, explore the area, and scan new creatures.
