A new mod for Fallout 4 has added Lucy MacLean's Vault-Tec backpack from the TV adaptation to the game. Although the Fallout TV show is extremely new, talented modders have wasted no time adding some of its coolest items to Fallout 4.
Just like Bethesda's other flagship titles, Fallout 4 is renowned for its extremely dedicated modding community. While the game was originally released back in late 2015, Fallout 4 has been kept alive by modders who continue to add new content, keeping it as fresh as it felt almost ten years ago. Some mods are small, and it's only when players install lots of them that their presence is truly felt. On the other side of the coin, there are also a ton of Fallout 4 total conversion mods, which make it feel like an entirely new game. Both have a place in the Fallout 4 modding community.
Over on Nexus Mods, user QwibQwibMods has added Lucy MacLean's Vault-Tec backpack into the game. The attention to detail is amazing, and it looks just like Lucy's backpack as it appears in the show. Only the best Fallout 4 mods feature this level of detail, and it's great to see in such a short space of time since the release of the show. The mod doesn't just add one item, though. For those who prefer a more subtle approach, the same backpack has also been added without the Vault-Tec branding, so there's something for everyone here.
Lucy's Vault-Tec Backpack Modded into Fallout 4
In the wake of Fallout's success on TV, Lucy's backpack isn't the only item from the show to have been modding into the game. Recently, another modder also added Lucy's pistol into Fallout 4, and it goes to show just how popular the character has been so far. Her naivete throughout her early wasteland adventures is extremely similar to how many players will have experienced the games, which has led her to become a fan favorite. It's been awesome seeing Fallout having its moment in the mainstream once again. General audiences and hardcore fans alike are excited about the franchise, which has resulted in the entire Fallout series getting a big player count boost on PC. It's just a shame that with Bethesda currently focused on the development of The Elder Scrolls 6, it seems unlikely that a new game in the series will be on the way any time soon.
